Really hard to enjoy unless you're really committed to raping anime girls...
Player is given a choice, one can even attempt to kill the NPC who levels up the protagonist.
There's even an adult-content ON/OFF option to play as an all-ages JRPG if one wishes so AND/OR holding CTRL key to skip off-putting text.
It's plagued with the same bs any other rpg maker game is...
A matter of mindset when it comes to RPG Maker/doujin type of games.
I'm all good with SNES-era graphic assets.
As long as the gameplay loop/story/writing piques my interest, will continue to play further.
There are a few inklings to discern the more effort/passionate/soulful ones, from the vast sea of such games/eroges.
Not-default/custom UI, combat mechanics, monster designs AND/OR sound assets.
CG assets (even animated ones) & VA presence are unreliable indicators.
If none holds your interest after trying several of such, best to ignore this 'genre' going forward.
