Things like no documentation or transparency are immediate enthusiasm killers. I no longer wish to play games where difficulty is achieved through having to make blind guesses. From what I've read about Grimoire's mechanics it sounds like a garbage RPG btw.
So you base your opinion on reading about "mechanics" instead of trying the actual demo?

It's enough of an indicator that Cleve can only copy others superficially. More proof of this is how, over a decade ago, he claimed his next game was going to be a Fallout clone. So how is documentation a part of a game's mechanics? The fact that there is no manual for the demo makes it a "garbage RPG"?

Because my forum plate is full and I haven't had my fill of trolling.
Edit: I take it back, I went to their South Park RPG thread and there are too many obnoxiously ignorant posters there.

I had talked about it in that thread months before for a while though. Couldn't get anything else than endless sneering though. It really is the SJW crowd on steroids, as snarky and bleeding heart as it gets. My only regret is that not a single veteran PC gamer wanted to play it or looked forward to it on its own merits. Like others have said, they are the people who dug their own grave.
The same applies to places with no-to-little moderation. Or anywhere really.I thought it was common knowledge that any place that has excessive moderation is also going to have massive amounts of ignorance. The two go hand in hand.
Where's the Billy Mays "Shut your whore mouth..." meme photo?

So a lack of documentation for the demo means Cleve only copies from others superficially? That is some logic.
Do we really need a manual to tell us that str represents brawn and modifies physical attack damage and carrying capacity? Or that giants, due to their size and inherent str, make good warriors?
Which one of you is "Matias_Koskinen"? I thought it was one of them making a parody account since someone already did that to lampoon me in the beginning of that thread, but alluding to there being a few transsexuals on the Codex and hating PST I'm thinking it's someone from here. This nickname is Finn, so it looks like something only a Finn would know about.
Yes, because making assumptions like that is wrong and can lead to playing nonviable builds that sounded right to you.Do we really need a manual to tell us that str represents brawn and modifies physical attack damage and carrying capacity? Or that giants, due to their size and inherent str, make good warriors? We only need a manual if a game is convoluted in some way or the manual itself entertains with its art and text.
Frequently referring to someone with pronouns of a gender that don't identify as isn't "as open-minded as you can get."

Scott Jennings aka Lum said:Also, for most this is obvious, but for the slow learners on the rpgcodex short bus: the rules HHR posted and laughed about were specifically on the political forum (and even more specifically, in response to a sustained campaign of trolling, something rpgcodex habitues are familiar with, I gather). Surprisingly, there are other things talked about here, like games.
