Rayman was on my wishlist for the summer sale but I am conflicted, should I get it at 50% or wait for the summer sale hoping for a better deal?Choices and Concenquenses
I'm in the same situation. Heard great things about it and I like 2D platformers, but there's still a good chunk of room to get cheaper.

It is a fun game, but I'll wait for a summer sale. If it was at 10 bucks, I would have got it.

Edit: I know it's a fun game because I played the Steam demo and I liked it. And I also loved the hand-draw art.

I'm in the same boast with Shoot Many Robots. Looks cool, but I think I'll wait it out.

Took a look at Shoot Many Robots and it DOES seem cool. PC port seems competent except for some annoying browser popup when you launch asking if you want to enable "Duckduck" which looks like some Facebook shit or something. You can disable that popup in the options once you get in the game though. Keyboard and mouse controls perfectly fine thus far and the inventory/store browsing is fairly inoffensive. One disappointing thing is it looks like there's no way to make a new character or wipe your character's progress, so you're boned if you want to start with a fresh character for whatever reason. Assuming it isn't hosting character info on Ubisoft servers for some weird reason there's probably a save you could delete manually somewhere but it seems dumb they don't give you the choice in the game itself.

Seems like a promising dumb shooter for $4. Already shot many robots.

Grabbed it! Never played the Stronghold series, but from what I've heard 1 and 2 (Plus expansions) were the best of the series, and that looks right up my alley.

Still contemplating Rayman and Alan Wake. Heard the gameplay of Alan Wake isn't so hot, but I'm fairly confident I'd enjoy it for the story and mood. Probably shouldn't grab it for $15 though. Rayman I'd be more forgiving of spending $15 on since good 2D platformers are rarer than third person horror shooters.
Plus I might wanna grab Anno 2070 if it goes on sale for more. I may do something rash and grab it even at 50% off. Laid-back future city builder sounds particularly good at the moment. I'm dumb.

Well I got Alan Wake on GOG for $15,it's not bad but it get's repetitive, not worth any more than that and probably less

I'm waiting on sub $10 for Alan Wake. Or some bundle with it's upcoming standalone expansion. It looks somewhat interesting but the game play seems pretty awful/repetitive, as stated. Debating Stronghold Collection but probably will grab. Just trying to see if I can get some Amazon credit in exchange for my GoL key and/or TL1. There will also be some Paradox games added to the sale later on.

I have no idea why, but Lunar Flight is $2.50 on Steam for a week.

May end up in an indie bundle at some point, but I'm not gonna take the chance. Now I can live the dream and pretend I'm flying around on the moon, going to my space base to settle in and play Steam games.

Holy fuck, Lunar Flight is awesome.
First attempt, misjudge how fast I was traveling down, crash into moon and die.
Second attempt, successfully collect data and make it back to landing pad, but run out of fuel JUST ON THE EDGE and clip one of my legs on the landing pad so I don't make it and sit dead in the moonwater next to it. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/596971085910462453/AE11AE2558E6B22409D1B495871D06550E4CB8FB/
Third attempt, successfully collect data and make it back to landing pad, barely bump the surface of the moon and start to tumble, fight to regain control, land on the pad just before lander runs out of fuel. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/596971085910580058/162A44CF6FCAE53FA9EBA84D628228663B060A61/

Haven't seen it mentioned yet:
Delve Deeper is on sale for 1,50 € including the expansion. Nice game for coffee-breaks and such.

Hm, Ass Creed titles are on sale today.
I'm a bit tempted, what's prestigious Codex' opinion on them?
First one is at 2,50, 2nd and Brotherhood at 7,50.

A friend of mine reccomended me them once, he's a bit of a history-fag sometimes and was quite impressed by the rendition of the cities in the titles.
He didn't tell much about the gameplay though...

Just bought Lunar Flight based off of mhc's stamp of approval. because if you can trust anybody, it's a crazed steam addict who will throw money at anything that activates on steam.

PS: seems pretty cool, but I suck horribly at it

My first landing :M
Hey, did better than me. Your lander's still in one piece.

I always had this question MHC:

1) Are you named after the Brahmins in fallout?
2) Or has it to do with the popular MHC hitting ass and thigh thing?
Combination of both. I lurked a decent chunk and decided to powergame with a name to give myself the biggest initial kodex kool kredits so I had to do less grinding in the start.

:salute:
