Decent? I thought the same when I bought Witcher 2 for $5. Didn't turn out so well. Let's put it this way... by the time I'm playing this I'll probably have a Maxwell GPU.

Well, I like Witcher 2 a lot so there are probably some fundamental differences in our taste for video games...

I feel you, man, I preordered Blackwell Epiphany.

Still, it is the fanboyish thing to do to preorder TW3, and The Witcher is about the last thing I can be fanboyish about, after all my beloved franchises (like Star Trek, Godzilla and Fallout) were ruined forever.

I'll "pre-order" it the day before it comes out, assuming there's a discount or something. Loved both games so far, expect this one to be at least worth the money.

Well, Witcher 2 already happened so...

Witcher 1 was hardly such a masterpiece that it got ruined by the sequel, the overall quality of both games is more or less the same (I consider both of them to be pretty good personally) so which one you prefer mostly comes down to taste.

no you just need to buy wither 1 on launch and find out it is unplayable broken piece of shit. and than the same happens with witcher 2
I did, and played both at launch. The only "unplayable shit" was the DRM fiasco with TW2 that caused a delay.

I think you and I understand the term "unplayable broken piece of shit" very differently...

CDerpProjekt are the kings of over-hyped announcements and excessive marketing.

You're joking right? That would most obviously be Bethesda. You might've called the Skyrim hype an actual mental illness at one point. CDP wouldn't even be second or third. There's Blizzard, Activision etc. etc.

:lol::lol::lol: sure

first witcher:
-up to 15 fps in 3 rd chapter in wyzima
- 2-3 minutes long loading times
-crashes to desktop every 20 minutes
-broken nonsensical english dialogues
-disappearing items/npc or shit that dont even show up
-that shitty swamps in second chapter

and i am not even talking about gameplay and balance

i finished witcher 2 only because Roche was a bro and couldnt leave him alone with all that shit:obviously:

CD Projekt delivered so far two average to good(enhanced editions) action adventure games with pretty good npc and plots but uterly shit combat systems and people treat them like a new saviour of crpg genre:lol::salute: storyfags gonna storyfag

Shitty knock off of DeS doesn't even begin to describe how bad the combat system is.

Game was pretty, though.

To be fair, that makes the games mediocre, not unplayable shit. Agree with the last lines though

"Unplayable broken piece of shit on day one" is not the same as "I dislike the gameplay."

Just so you know.

Only way I preorder anything is if some retailer makes it available at a discount. Otherwise will wait for reviews/sales/possible EE.

Sorry, it's CDP by a mile with their stupid live video announcements and psuedo-cons and lame humor.

That's nothing compared to the dovahkiin being painted over the side of 3 buildings, cod commercials with 10 fucking celebrities, fucking blizzcon, how the marketing budgets of basically any american triple A title dwarfs cdp's by a mile, plastering every dorritos or mountain dew bottle with COD EXP BONUS SHIT, motherfucking e3, announcements of 5 second teasers, announcements of announcements and any of the other uncountable things I could name here.

So they do live video announcements once in a while, their humor is lame and they do pseudo-cons (?) and that is the most over-hyped and excessive videogame marketing in the world?
