It seems like the marketing philosophy is:

- Vavra larps online like a "based conservative", mocking Veilguard, ESG, etc.
- Warhorse silently adds diversity and sends out checks to appease mainstream game journalists

Neither the people on the right with a backbone nor the "true believer" leftists will be happy, but the hope is that they grab enough of the middle that it doesn't matter. It's Vavra's "Poles are the real racists, we love gays as long as they support freedom of speech!" play.

not sure if this is in any of the previews, but this leaked image just dropped and im wondering if its real, i think i've read that while such sunglasses were rare at the time, it's not unthinkable that a migrating swallow could've picked one of these up in an Arizona shopping mall and dropped them on his return journey.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
Yeah, the jogger is real, it's clear by now.

Thing is, this time around, unlike the last time, Vavra has all the FU money he needs. So even if he gets a lot of shit from his fans he'll just laugh all the way to his uber expensive Prague mansion.

Those tweets are taken out of context. When Vavra said "There were no black people in medieval Bohemia, period", he simply meant they were all in Hungary at the time. They (legally) crossed the border before the second game. Historical records show that Musa was actually the first person to introduce spices to Europeans, as well as teaching them how to properly fry chicken and season collard greens.

It's certainly a possibility but he likely won't get the last laugh. Money is finite. A legacy, however, will last a lot longer.

If the sequel is not compromised, it will be celebrated for many years to come.

If the sequel is compromised, it'll sell decently but all the good will built up will crumble away and the guy will be relentlessly mocked for selling out right around the same time that tolerance for subversion and performative tokenism is at an all time low.

In case people don't know, the Mali "empire" is the one that made literal sand castles located all the way to west Africa. The highly skilled doctor and engineer from this clearly advanced sand Wakanda traveled across the entire Sahara desert, length wise, ferried himself across the Mediterranean, probably landed somewhere in Italy and made a long trek in some remote northern Slavic country dominated by a religion hostile to his own so he could do some kind of business in a city that barely even allowed Jews to do the same.

Indeed.
Now one can argue exactly just how much did the nerdy devs back in the old days care about the legacy of their games, but I am of the opinion that they legitimately cared.
When Carmack was working his programming magic on this little indie game called DOOM or the people at Looking Glass were designing Thief: The Dark Project (which did not become the stealth game we all know and revere until about halfway through its original development, it was originally meant to be called Dark Camelot, then they essentially had to code the whole thing from scratch when they finally settled it's going to be a stealth game).
And they left monumental legacies.

Another alleged screenshot of the negro
Btw if you watch today's previews, you will see that some of them were showing stealth segments of players stealing npcs. Those npcs were sleeping partially derobed (just like the image).

KCD1 npcs always slept with full clothes on (im saying this because there were people thinking the image was modded KCD1). This black man leak is probably very legit.

Most of them did dump their daily clothes into a container and slept with just the large white undergarment on - I should know because I just replayed the game again and choked out more than my fair share of villagers while robbing their places. The reason for that undergarment was the layered clothing/armor system they used, it splits the bodies into segments which is why you see that gap around the waist in that screenshot, too. It's why all the nude mods sucked too, modders couldn't get around that system.
