Let the faggot fall. Damn, most WEIDU mods are 100 times better that shit they released. The companions added were the crappiest of them all.

I fully agree with this.Always sorry to hear of anyone daring to do getting fucked for any reason, and I do wish them the best. On the other hand...just played BGEE and BG2 GoG Edition through and didn't see how the EE improved on Tutu at all. I wanted so badly to believe in this project, too. =( I hope for their sake BG2EE makes the market and I'll pry pick it up regardless just to show solidarity. But the sad fact is these guys are trying to monetize what the BG fanbase has been doing better for free since BG2's release. ugh so depressing. If I were a tablet owner (and mods worked on iPads, gotta patch in my gayness), I guess I'd still be celebrating such an awesome mobile experience. But I ain't, for now. saaad
You just listed the valid reasons to bash BG:EE after disagreeing with the bashing.
neither did I harbor it any ill will.
That requires more talent then grave robbing does and some invention too, none of which is within Trent's capabilities.Maybe now they can, I dunno, make a new IP and not have to deal with this bullshit like they shoulda done from the very start.
Well, they have Freespace! Freespace 2 is actually Interplay's best selling game on GOG after the Fallouts: http://af.gog.com/catalogue?search=Interplay&as=1649904300

Plenty of interesting IPs are still owned by Interplay, including one I think Brian was particularly proud of in Sacrifice. Then there's plenty of titles with at least some value; Earthworm Jim, Descent, MDK, Kingpin (one of the guys I got to meat in Cali was Maxx Kaufman, who was the art director on Kingpin (and Redneck Rampage)), Giants: Citizen Kabuto (another one of Interplay's more experimental titles), Redneck Rampage, maybe even Stonekeep.
There's not a ton of financial value there, but some interesting titles.
Man, this post only reminded me how many of may favourite games were released by Interplay. How could they go down having so many cool titles to sell?Plenty of interesting IPs are still owned by Interplay, including one I think Brian was particularly proud of in Sacrifice. Well, actually, I probably know why. I've pirated like 80% of my games back then. Couldn't afford to buy them (sorry, I guess?). I bet many other people did the same thing.
Not at all, I see no reason to bash it. Because it failed to achieve what it tried to do?You just listed the valid reasons to bash BG:EE after disagreeing with the bashing.
When what your trying to achieve is to recreate a game that already exists, and your version is worse, and you are charging money for it, that is the time to bash something. Not at all, I see no reason to bash it. Because it failed to achieve what it tried to do?
It's just an unwarranted level of rage.
