The Siege of Dragonspear Collector's Edition is better than any of the Kickstarter CE's of recent cRPGs. Sturdy and massive box, nice cloth map that doesn't feel cheap or falls apart after a few months, cool trinkets, neat manual and bestiary with high quality print. The only aspect where SoD aligns with the big KS cRPGs of recent time is the quality of content :?

Zelda:BotW is singlehandedly the new age of incline the Codex has been waiting for since Fallout/PS:T/BG2/[insert token Troika game]. It will replace Arcanum in the RPG holy triumvirate.

Tough crowd, but one of these has to trigger someone.

Your entire hobby is the invention of California libruls.

Iraeneus is as white as snow in deep winter.

HHR is the straightest son of a bitch I've ever seen.

All of you are bro fist mongering fags with no exceptions.

The real joke isn't that Grimoire is going to be released, it's that its going to be crowdfunding level shlock like PoE 1.0 or Wasteland 2 Pre-Director's Cut. You spent 20 years arguing over a game you're all going to quit after three hours.

The best RPG is in fact the Green Day song, "Minority."

This should trigger everyone:

Trump was the real deal but is now a sellout, probably because he fears assasination.

Ever wished Fallout had decent combat? Try Fallout Tactics!
triggered.

It's still true...
Possibly, if the turn based wasn't broken.

Yeah the turn based thing and the encounter design, when mutants start appearing, break the game, but everything else is good. I mean, it considers vertical movement. That by itself makes it relatively more tactical when it comes to combat. Then again, Fallout was never really about combat, so it's ok.

I finished it in real time because it was unplayable in turnbased, if it had the same combat as Fallout 1/2 it would have been ace.

classic rpgs are only enjoyable if you watch them on youtube playthroughs and skip the slogfests
