I want to ask about quest
Ol' Chopper, I was misguided I think, I thought that I can get it before Armadillo dril part, was I wrong? I don't know anything about it, but someone make some remark that misguided me in that way.
I dont believe you can get to him before Drill parts. You need to explode/drill some rocks to get to camp Hathor, (and he is nearby it) and you only get the TNT charges after finishing Drill parts quest, when the metro unlocks and the TNT charges start to appear in shops

I somehow thought that unlocking psi was part of the main plot, and by the time I realised it reduced my HP by a lot even though I never planned to use it.. it was already too late. Retard.

That happened to me too, but I just kept on playing. Extra challenge :smug:

After a few hours, well a few.. 30 hours or so. I am sure, despite its an excellent year for rpgs, its the greatest pure rpg of the year.It would take too long to list everything underrail do right. The fact you can build your char the way you want is really appreciable.

No perception, no trap skills, i encounter a minefield, am i fucked ? No ! Its not AOD you dont need one special build per encounter , everything here works in its own way. I cant disarm traps nor see them but my tech crafting skills are very high, so i proceed to make myself a blast resistance tactic vest+ an improved personal shield. Now the minefiled is like a walk in the park if costly in energy cells. Thats just an exemple, the game has exceptional level design.

The combat system is fantastic , those crawlers... i wont spoil it but what a clever fight system.

Well it lacks a bit of humor , gore and sex stuff like in fallout 2 and the writing isnt the best but otherwise it does everything else better.Too bad it only happens every 10 years.

Any way to get more poison/acid resistance without chemistry and tailoring? Both mutants and burrowers are fucking me up right now

I've seen acid resist vest on sale in SGS once. I think you jsut need to explore the extra locations and level up to see them appear . Plenty of rocks to blast to uncover ruined vault and caves.

5 acid DT on metal armor isn't too shabby

The way in which you find "How to Tame a Rathound" made me chuckle. The author's name is pretty good, too.

This game is so excellent, I might have to start frequenting RPGCodex again so I can attempt to become one of Styg's groupies.

Eyestabber I think the skillcheck is around 100. Try eating junkyard surprises until you get int buff and see if that's enough?

Will try that on my next playthrough. Right now I just paid the mechanic. I have tons of crafting so making money is easy (albeit a bit tedious).

Speaking of bandages. There's gotta be a way to craft these right? I've been stocking up on all sorts of fabrics and rags yet I haven't found a blueprint for it. Should be simple enough compared to all the crazy shit you can create.

I haven't found one - don't think there is. Plentiful with merchants though, and fairly cheap. Once the money starts rolling in, you'll need a moneysink anyway.

I just got to the Deep Caverns.

Atmosphere is great. I like how the mood changes from being in the center of civilization to being so isolated. That change in atmosphere really made the game something else.

On the other hand infinitely respawning EVERYHING is extremely NOT enjoyable. I cannot imagine going through this area with a character that has no stealth. Everything from monsters to mushroom turrents to bots infinitely repsawns. Even with 10 agi, max stealth, and stealth gear it is so hard to explore. Also suddenly my inventory is filled with plot items.

Question: Is there anyway to not get killed by the Faceless commander once you accept Tchortist's spy mission? I wanted to side with the Faceless but I got to Tchortist's outpost first.

I just hit 25. I probably would have ran out of supplies now if my character wasn't based on melee.

Question to Deep Cavern vets:
I just reactivated the Arke powerstation but it seems that I can't allocate some power to some places. I think I've been to everywhere except pass the rusted gate and gooey gate(I got the goo off but no power to open it). What am I doing wrong here? I can't seem to find any switch or anything to repair to get the power going.

Yeah, it's a mystery to me why batches of rags + some kind of chemical (for sterilization) isn't a crafting schematic for bandages. There are nowhere near enough bottles or gasoline in the game to match the huge quantity of rags you can crank out if you have Tailoring. Then again, maybe Tailoring doesn't need yet another benefit; but I can see Biology + Tailoring being used for bandages.

It's hard to complain too much though as there are many dozens of crafting recipes, most of which are extremely modular and variable.

Aaaand now everyone knows that I don't have a life :D

But seriously though I was hoping some answers from beta testers.
It's really a goddamn pain just to walk around in the Deep Caverns with all these repsawning Tchort monsters
