I've looked in every single zone with the natives and I can't fucking find this damn symbol. Anyone have any idea?

It's near their main base, one area left and down of the temple IIRC . It's a big statue and the symbol is carved in white on its rock hammer.

Follow the coast upwards from the boneyard/JSHQ on your jet ski, you'll get to an area that has a on-foot water transition, it's the next one.

Oh, and where are the cords to Fetid Marsh? I don't think I investigated them on my last build as I have no clue what people are talking about, but I'm with the pirates now so no more cords for me.

Northeast past Nexus walkaround.

Razor has a quest for the marsh, he's at the smaller port.

This is my variation of Blaine's build.

Missing out on Sweep sucks, but sacrifices must be made. If I were to change things I would grab Grenadier at 16, followed by Power Management, and then Armor Sloping, finishing off with Nimble. Still doable without, but Grenadier just is so useful it makes things much easier if you get it early, and Armor Sloping + Nimble combo is basically just their for extra movement points which really isn't all that necessary. I finished with Body Weight Training, but Sweep is probably better. It's just that at that point in the game, I wanted to get as much movement points as possible, and Body Weight Training basically lowers our armor penalty to 5-8% I believe. That means that you have 50+ Movement Points at level 30 without any Tabis or Striders. Using a 140+ quality bootspring, and you have over 90 movement points which is awesome.

Is riot armor even worth it? With armor sloping you could make some insane metal armor instead.

I was looking into riot armor on my sword guy, but the end-game crafted versions are worse than leathers, and I even have more use for the block (riposte).

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm proud to present the Fend feat in its natural environment.

Get a good look before Styg nerfs spears again.

These guys are all Death Stalkers on DOM :mixedemotions:.

Do you block enough damage to deal with them too?

Fuck me I'm retarded, I found it straight away after reading this, thanks brother.

Even better, thanks man.

Eh, it depends. The good part about Riot Armor is the shield you get which helps with blocking, especially if you spec into it, but you will get better raw protection from metal or perhaps even some leather armors. It's up to prefrence as all are very viable in Hard. Can't speak for dominating.

What dictates whether the torch does 40-80 or 80-120 damage? Will? It only mentions precision in the tooltip.
It's only 40-80 damage on me and I had 15 Will at the time.
Anyone found the Psi Beetle Brain yet?
Ain't that oddity drops from the psi beetles and their goliathuses? Or are you talking about something else?

Nay, northeast of Nexus leads to the Blistering Shores. Fetid Marsh is east-southeast from the Horticultural Center, the entrance is sandwiched by the Nexus and Horticultural Center.

Might be something new in DC.

Someone should add the map to the wiki, Candide maybe?

Dunno what's the deal with the torch, I'll try and look at my saves.

Is the first Pirate Raid supposed to be tough? I convinced the captain to let me do it alone, and when the Black Eels come it seems like it's going to be a really tough fight.

So I looked at some saves, the torch switches between 60-120 and 40-80 on both 18 WILL and 3 WILL chars. Anyone know the trigger?

I had extreme trouble as a swordsman even with the pirates, had to spam grenades. If you're ranged it's laughably easy. They have snipers and you can't use your shield on a jet, if you disembark you get netted.

All the raids are tough. Though I was playing melee. Hit and run tactics work well. Kill a few of the escorts, leave the map, reappear on the other side. Alternatively, you could try boarding the ship, that way you can activate your shield. Also, if you haven't already, get some jet ski training from Razor.

Seems iffy, the wiki mentions no such thing as the damage depending on Will and only displays the one with 40-80 damage. Tbh, I feel like the damage should scales off Will like psi spell damages scales off its corresponding school skills.

I don't mind it being more useful to non-PSI (since PSI is so OP anyways), I'd like to know the logic behind it.

I found the difficulty decreased with each raid. The 2nd one gets destroyed by EMPs, and the 3rd one is without a jet ski (so much easier, admittedly I solo stealthed it with TNT).

He got me after I rifted in, but I think there's just a time passed variable. Try leaving the game on for a while, or CE x50 speedhack.

So my laserface jones is doing reasonably well, but having zero evasion is very painful. Shield helps a lot against guns but crossbow enemies usually kill me. I guess I need to craft better armor but I've joined Coretech for the electronics parts and I haven't seen good vest/armor components anywhere. Is the vendor in Fort Apogee a good source of armor parts? I might do some quests for the protectorate to get access to that.

I agree the map would be nice to have on the wiki but this one is not complete. Hey Damianus_NT if you ever complete the Black Sea map I'd be happy to post it to the wiki (or you can post it yourself, anyone can register there now).

Oh, didn't know that, saw you were a contributor.

The map's pretty good, I'd just put it up - Expedition is still a WIP and it's much better than nothing. Should prob wait for permission from Damianus_NT though.

Him and University armory are pretty good, though Oculus can also have them.

You could try a double low frequency shield with increased capacity, but my gunslinger's way of dealing with stealthed enemies is to chuck a flashbang or a molotov into a suspicious area. Usually it destealths & incapacitates them.

You aggro'd the Hopper by trying to attack them or using a debuff on them like nets. For whatever reason this makes it harder to cage them.

Tbh I don't get why that quest has so many factors tied to it, like having a cooldown on cages. If your character is so based as to be able to cage all 3 hoppers in one turn, why not allow you to do it?

Locust hives are really getting on my nerves. With bio and mechanical resistance they are no threat, but their turns take FOREVER. I cleared a map of 3 hives and I checked the time on the savefiles afterwards - it had taken me a whopping 15 minutes.

On one turn I tried using a grenade to cull their numbers and make my next turn come faster. I had 90% accuracy but of course this time my character had to throw the grenade halfway to Dis and hit nothing instead. :negative:

I wish their numbers were decreased and their individual strength buffed or something. Burrower spawn are also guilty of draining real-life time (but not nearly in the same league).

Is nimble worth it if I'm only using leather armor with about 20-30 armor penalty?

How much movement points do I lose with 30 armor penalty anyways?

By the way, how much mercantile is necessary to get to 95 effective with hypercerebrix and 7 base intelligence, along with 60 base persuasion?

Use the Force Luke!

You will lose exactly 30% of your movement points comrade!
