Judging by what your vid said, wouldn’t that make the PC a serial killer pariah that the vampires will hunt down out of fear and self-preservation, or does the death curse make that too dangerous? Why doesn’t the death curse curse the cannibal? Or does it?

Actual Reaper? Death has a personification in this setting? Or it is one of those eldritch things.

The Red Judge is more or less an actual reaper, but only for vampires since their souls work differently from a normal human's.

The death curse is something the dying vampire says to the Red Judge in a ritualistic manner. It's almost always a curse.

But, in more technical terms it can be considered a

Wish. One that comes with a lot of terms, the chief of them being you can't just wish to not be dead.

Killing any vampire is fraught with complications and dangers. That's one reason why most vampires would rather send expendable humans to do the job instead. I'll probably include a mechanic where the player can also send their own familiars to do the same. Just expect them to die a lot... and it kind of gives the element of surprise away.
