Well, so far, the only thing I've learned about this game is that writers/journalists are morons

Vampires (with clans), politics, crime combos have been done many, MANY times. Saying WoD has the sole rights to it is beyond dumb.

New title graphic makes it look like it's for lads and homos/women. Very romance-novel looking. If that's your goal, then it's fine.

The bigger problem is the title itself. "Vampire Gangs of something" is a shovelware title. I haven't quite figured out if shovelware is what you actually do and if you are ok with it but that's how the title sounds.

I totally know where you're coming from, but Conan-style epic covers with a damsel clutching their leg/feet/trunk penis is just the height of masculinity for me. I wish modern fantasy RPGs were like this.

This kind of style inspired a lot of video game art but don't usually make it to the covers (at least, not anymore) because of modern sensibilities.

Even Fallout got in on this with their concept art for (Van Buren, I think? I forget) Glorious.

So the problem I ran into a long time ago is that not everybody has good taste and illiterates perfectly fine people with a less discerning eye for great titles make up a big part of any paying customer base. Vampire Gangs of MoonFall serves a few purposes. It immediately establishes that it's about vampires, and gangs, and has the location name for further branding. It's incredibly easy to remember, and easy to pass on by word of mouth.

Does it sound like trash? Yeah, probably. But any new game from an unrecognized IP and a small dev is bound to be met by scrutiny. Not the least an overly ambitious sex game that fills a niche that's long been starved for content.

I can't promise that the game won't be crap, all I can promise is genuine effort. And I won't lie about my goals, which are kind of trollish in nature. AAA (specially RPGs) have declined so much in recent years, that I want to drag the industry kicking and screaming to my game, press their faces into it and say "Look what one man can do, in a cave, with a box of scraps. And yeah, it's a fucking porn game too."

And money. Give me money please. Money me. Money me lots.

Hmm, that might be due to the Fabio hair and lack of body hair. We also did a version with dirt/blood but it didn't come out as we liked. I'll probably tinker with it more.

1+ hr long "RPG" - took two months to make [Link] Not recommended. Very much a "learned how to make baby's first RPGmaker game." Only get it if you loved the other two
10+ hr long linear RPG with limited C&C and environment - took one year to make [Link] It's very linear, but worth a play if you like a focused story and JRPG-style grinding
50++ hr non-linear RPG with lots of content - will probably be 2.5 years in total dev time when finished [Link] More in line with cRPG territory but with anime, my current project

Will the portraits be zoomed out enough so that you can see your character's tits? Because if you combine that with the option to add new portraits or alter existing ones miracles can be performed.

I have no problem with the name TBH. I mean, the whole thing is essentially about the criminal underworld of Moonfall and how it relates to you, law enforcement, and the political class, how you'll climb it, and what choices you'll make along the way. Overall, if you take a look at UNDERWORLD Synonyms: 12 Synonyms & Antonyms for UNDERWORLD | Thesaurus.com, some of the synonyms for underworld are gangland, mob, syndicate, cosa nostra, and anything that denotes crime.

I don't know if there's really a good way to simply state what your game is focusing on other than saying it the way you had. Maybe 'Gangland of Moonfall' and something to denote the supernatural, such as Bloody, Crimson, Cursed, or something like that, but even then it may be playing up the supernatural aspects of it.

Still, finding yourself walking the crimson nightmares of Moonfall's violent underworld, you would probably want to figure out a way to emphasize the supernatural and the technological via the art of the title. If you see Shadowrun, they always have a fantastical Dragon in the shape of the S, but then this techno background matrixy looking shit all over the place. Maybe try something like that - it's blood at the top, but as it gets to the bottom of the letters it becomes digital and fades to 0's and 1's.
