I think Paradox really ought to start listening to the voice of the people
The problem might not be with being deaf to the players, but their relatively new strategy of planning entire roadmap of DLCs years ahead.
And the fact that they are quite vague about their future plans is something that makes an already risky and somewhat unpopular approach into an even more unpopular one.
The fact that they plan out half a decade of DLCs from day one is just terrible PR. Like you knew something was missing but you went forward anyways and on top of that you don't even call the games early access or anything. How do they expect people to respond?

this genuinely makes me want to generate what a true megalopolis would look like in the Victorian era in stable diffusion. Cool concept. Funny how its a bug lol it was never intended to do this. I did something similar in Imperator when it first came out, the cities in that game are a joke.

City minmaxing is the best part of Imperator IMO. If only moving slaves around wasn't literally balanced by UI shittiness, which devs confirmed.

Player numbers are already plummeting back down. Today is the highest player count we'll see for the whole month and it is only the first.

The chances of that happening is on par with you reforming yourself and start making better post : null.
The chance of me being immortal emperor of the universe is also low, but I do dream about it. At least in my dreams I am great. Why are you lame and defeated even in your dreams? Why don't you dream of good video games, but instead dream of developers dying? Spiteful, bitter, defeated.
