Eldar are basically nearly fully updated, they will definitely be a 2025 project for me once I finish my 30k White Scars. Let’s see if they start doing more lore actions again.

I'm looking at the new Fire Dragon models and they better fucking not take away their massive dump truck asses.

In fact here's a list in arbitrary order of some of my 40k favorites:
[snip]
The literal reason 40k is good is because Games Workshop does not force their writers to write about bolterfags all the time.
Can you choose three you deem best?

Ultramarine with God mode cheats.
Reminds me of Boltgun, that ultramarine boomer shooter that came out a little while back.

Just send that dude into the Eye of Terror alone and it's joever.

If he turns to chaos, it just means chaos was right all along.

I find its visual design really cozy, but unfortunately the gameplay just doesn't do it for me.
Oh yeah it's boring as fuck. Half of the game is sniping at things that can't snipe you back, and the other half is running around an arena fighting your 7th greater demon in a row.

Thanks for showing me the newest drama, I am actually getting sick of this fucking fandom its some new internet drama every week. We need to go back to 2008 where the only 40k videos on youtube were scattered battle reports, random Dawn of War clips, and heavy metal music videos that were just art slide shows.

The average modern leftist 40k fan for whom 40k has always been a parody of fascism vs an evil chud 40k fan.

You know how Sakaguchi's latest game used dioramas, scanned as pre-rendered backgrounds....

....imagine a 40K game with scanned 2nd edition dioramas, by the old masters, and the new:

That would be one hell of an artistic game if done right.

Some culture war grifter, the hair should leave no doubt as to which side he typically is on.

I dont actually follow these ppl but it popped up in my TL and loled at the size difference like its one of those charts showing how big space marines are compared to the average human.

Basically the algorithm already knows your personal opinions and leanings so if you start using twitter they get recommended to you. I rarely use it only go for art and get recommended by the same “chudhammer” talking heads

It's not as if the Eldar are unique in being complete jokes, though. Everything outside of the Imperium is nothing but a punching bag for the Imperium, reading about other factions in 40K is cool for a bit, until you realize they're all the equivalent of a WWE jobber who gets hyped up just so the champ looks cooler when he inevitably beats him down "against all odds".

Depends. Some are winners and some are losers.

Winners

Orks - arguably the most winningest. Their whole purpose is to fight, and when they lose, it just means they had a good fight. They win-win all their scenarios.
Tau - The Imperium let some space cows on some backwater planet grow up to be weebmechs with some of the best tech available.
Tyranids - no real concept of winning or losing, they're just here to om nom nom. You can kill them all you like, but there's always more waiting outside the galaxy as plot dictates.
Chaos - winners only because the writers require it. I wouldn't be surprised if End Times 2.0 happens.

Losers

Necrons - yeah they curbstomp a lot of things, but seeing how they're fighting their equivalent of monkeys with sticks, it's kind of embarrassing.
Space elves - gigantic losers
S&M Space elves - even more gigantic losers
Chaos - giant losers who constantly fight each other and have barely made any real progress in 10000 years.
Votann - literally who?

And here is my own take on winners and loser when it comes to w/l track records as don't agree Iom is always curbstomping everyone else, really depends who.

Winners:
-Necrons: Although they ain't as outright invincible as the OG necrons used to be and I certainly don't see them as awesome anymore, they still tend to win most of the things they are in, usually whilst slaughtering copious amounts of the IoM's elite forces.
It's generally accepted the only reason Necrons won't win more is because they don't care to.
-Tyranids: They might be the go to swarm enemy for your good guys to save the planet from, but it doesn't change that lore wise, they are winning: the fleets we have seen are not even 0.00000001% of the nids full power and they can adapt to pretty much anything.
We are constantly told that every victory against tyranids is a pyhrric one and for every hive fleet you stop at great cost, 10 splinter hive fleets formed that are now splitting up to go for undefended worlds and grow to become major threats again. strategically the iom is losing hard to nids.
-Tau: Fucking tau. Despite being a race who can barely live up to 70, have such slow reflexes up close your average underfed human can easily dance around a jacked fire warrior as if they were an eldar, whenever the IoM goes up against the tau, it's always a cringe fest.
The iom despite having millions of unique reguments with every combat doctrine imaginable, and a wealth of experience in every possible combat scenario, consistently get outsmarted and outplayed by the tau, they just completely forget how to fight to the point you wonder how the IoM ever manages to win any battle period if their leaders are always this inept.
Every other race has to worry about ai or the warp randomly turning 1s into 0s but not the tau, nah, they somehow have magic super tech that is just perfectly efficient and flawless and has no downsides whatsoever.
They can just walk up to hive cities, who typically have more population then the entire tau empire, and take it in less then ONE day and then never have to worry about the problems the iom has to worry about when managing so many people across vast swathes of territory because...tau.

Ok i'm getting sidetracked with my tau hate and how bs their writing is, to get back on track: outside of the occasional story where we get to laugh at tau getting their comeuppance for a change, their track record against the iom is very one sided, with the tau constantly outdoing the iom even at things its supposed to great at, see shadowsun casually outstealthing the raven guard and killing their chapter master. Even when the imperium do win skirmishes, its always like 9999999999999999999999 guardsmen died for every tau, tau retreat and iom declares it a grand victory, then once the iom fleet leaves, tau come right back in and expand again, ad repeat infinitum.

Losers:
-Everyone else but I am going to speak about orks since it's where i mainly disagree with tyranicon: orks winning anything is so rare that when they do, it genuinely stands out imo.
That's fine, they are good antagonists and play that role well, but this trend persists even when not fighting the iom against whom they are at least presented as an actual threat. It helps that the orks themselves don't care and lorewise they simply ain't trying to win (war of the beast being the exception) because the current state of eternal fighting is a good deal to them, but GW is still stingy with giving them actual Ws:
Orks vs nids? Octavious war was fun but....nids have officially won that.
Orks vs eldar? I cant recall a single story where orks got one over the eldar, i'm sure there must be one from white dwarf or something but usually orks are just a tool for eldar, nothing more.
Orks vs necrons? I cant remember a single ork W over them.
Orks vs tau? Lmao tau are portrayed as slaughtering orks in such a one side manner that it's not even a contest, orks are described as a mere nuisance.
Orks vs dark eldar? I dont know if dark eldar even consider orks worthy as arena gladiators, you'd think they would but i don't recall a single mention of that.
Orks vs chaos? Probably the most even showing as both tend to be antagonists and tbh, having the ork intervene as a third party against chaos is a fun trope that tends to make all sides involved look competent.

The orks are great sports to take their licks with no complaints, they really are in it for the love of the game. But thank goodness they have the mentality they have baked in, the old ones really did a 10/10 job when making them.
To use a wrestler analogy, orks to me are the ultimate talent announcer/gatekeeper. If your race can't easily stomp orks then it's basically not worthy of being in 40k.

There are around only because of plot armor and GW greed. And if I recall correctly they control a very small and irrelevant part of the galaxy.
