Love fool
Co-op? More like bugs galore. It is the most useless gimmick to put in this game imho.
Now tell us how you all played those games on consoles too, for that extra cringe

Owlcat AudienceThe romance section in the character introduction took me aback as well. It feels out of place.
Well I played a Sanctioned Psyker through the whole two campaigns of Dark Heresy (Apostasy's Gambit abd Harlock's Legacy) and it didn't happen. Frequent incidents, mass confusion and freakouts, but my character was a combat oriented Psyker so those generally didnt botch sophisticated operations. For the first few levels the Psyker is mostly an utility caster and debuffer but when you get your first Discipline, you quickly snowball into a maelstrom of unstoppable destruction. Usual modus operandi consisted in shouting to the comrades to pull back, then running into melee and spamming Holocaust. The Techpriest would then shoot whatever wasnt incinerated.Yeah, until they blew themselves up or made a tpk happen.Psyker were hilariously unbalanced and OP in Dark Heresy, as they should be.

Co-op mode is here!
Today we have great news for you!
In our new game, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, we've introduced a lot of unique and unusual mechanics that were not present in our previous projects. We decided to not stop there and took it a step further.
Since the very first day we started working on Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, we've concluded that travelling across the Koronus Expanse with a friend would be a lot more fun, and now we're excited to finally announce it! Cooperative mode will be available on PC at launch and introduced to consoles at a later date!
We'll be back with the details soon enough, but for now - stay tuned!
At the same time most of the options say none. Hard to tell if they're trying to pander to the bg3 audience or establish themselves as a counterpoint. The romance section in the character introduction took me aback as well. It feels out of place.
My bet is they want to provide romance for people who might be interested, but they don't go overboard with it (which is why most characters are N/A).At the same time most of the options say none. I strongly doubt that is the reason. At least judging by Baldur's Gate 3.Romance being put at the forefront show Owlcat didnt get the appeal of Wh40k setting and just want to cater to the loud neo-Biodrone niche. They should know that this kind of pandering is one of reasons Bioware's product steadily declined in quality and the fact that it is now a dying brand.

Because no game of this caliber launches in December. And why work hard just to have your game ignored by the people who are still playing BG3, Starfield and the many other releases of October?EDIT: Infi, why not? Are you know something? WHAT ARE YOU HIDING FROM US?!
There's just no room left this year. I'd be very surprised if Rogue Trader isn't a 2024 title.

Why do the ingame models and the art for the companions look nothing alike?
I mean, Idira's white in her model. I thought she was black? Wtf.
