Pretty much done with Arizona. While it's nice that there are only two mandatory fights in Damonta, the combat density is way too high. Even with 9s in all my weapon skills it was noticeably more demanding, though not enough to make me use health packs (I now have over 80; still haven't put any points into field medic, though of course it'd be somewhat different without those free refills).
Overall, Arizona was all right. Worse level design than Fallout Tactics, about the same when it comes to attrition-based-difficulty, but better in nearly every other category. The takeaway here is that it pays to go in with extraordinarily low expectations instead of expecting an instant classic on the first try (though tbh I don't consider this to be all that worse than those 90s RPGs).
