Overall it seems like a very impressive and powerful art tool that is only going to get more-so in the coming years as it grows up out of the early stage of infancy and gets more competition if they don't intentionally fuck it up for ideological reasons like some are trying to do:
Exactly. Used correctly, this puts a massive premium on an artist that is part of the target culture and a native speaker of whatever language the commissioner uses. The right person with the right setup can replace an outsourced art studio. If anything, I think those people should see this an opportunity. As it has already been said, it's a nice tool to get quick concept and canvas, but often lack in precision and coherence, and still take some time to be fine-tuned. Tracing and copycat using slight variation of already existing image are still an issue in the art industry that will probably never get solved.
A lot of art is already outsourced to second and even third world country, ai training should give back an edge to western artist, because they should have reference, training and computing power not available to the other. Of course, the eternal retard are screeching, because they somehow believed that artist could be a secure and cozy job.
Honestly all this stuff is such a steaming pile of Garbage. I really don't see where any of the supposed advancements are that are not to do with improved computing power/more data. It all looks as bad as its ever been. Technology is not improving.

Some more on the fantasy side with different modifiers and character classes:
All of these are unmodified first attempts and created within seconds. The AI also easily understands differences in style, you can change it from "lineart" to "crosshatching", "oil painting" or "pencil/ink art" just by changing a keyword and you can change the artist(s) it's inspired by or tries to imitate and what it draws "inspiration" from e.g. Conan, Warhammer, DnD etc. just as easily, found this useful chart:
Something else I was messing around with:

Its more to do with, being forced to chow down on the "AI" hype at work. I guess it spills out here a little. AI as a term = all that's wrong with the world. You can start with not calling the above mediocre algorithmic image generation as AI.Did an AI rape your dog and shoot your mother or something?Planning on shitting out some shovelware?Honestly all this stuff is such a steaming pile of Garbage. When push comes to shove, people don't ever want to use it because:- "it's not quite there yet, give it a few more years...AI is really great (but not really)".
That is exactly what Art people though.I as a nurse have nothing to fear - AI will not replace me any time soon :D
The medical guilds will fear monger the public again. They were already successful at requiring a joystick to be installed on all robotic surgery equipment so that a doctor can collect guaranteed pay for automated procedures. That is exactly what Art people though.I as a nurse have nothing to fear - AI will not replace me any time soon :D
Are you claiming "AI" will soon be able to stick its fingers up peoples buttocks cavity? No. There is no threat to nursing. There is no threat to any human job because "AI" is as dumb as a bag of hammers and will always need humans to control it. The wheelbarrow has not replaced the labourer and nor will some dumb procedural art generated algorithms. The medical guilds will fear monger the public again. A large portion of a nurse's job is manual labor. Those portions could be mechanized much more than they are today. Even without sophisticated robots, the profession has split into Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and Personal Service Workers. The PSWs are low paid and the most likely to be replaced first.

What do you actually think "AI" is? Some kind of sci-fi intelligence capability or....?The wheelbarrow allows one person to move as much as many people can carry with their hands. This will do:-We are obviously talking past each other. Tell me what you think a nurse does.
