Cyberpunk 2077 Pre-Release Thread [GAME RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

If a game sells decently, stocks go up. If it sells badly or there is bad PR stocks go down.

The quality of the game in question is irrelevant to this equation. Marketing and braindead sheep being told what to buy matters the most. What a consumer thinks is irrelevent as long as stocks are sold. As long as money from stocks keeps changing hands over and over. And with the plandemic in full swing the NWO have already decided who's allowed to make a profit and who isn't. What we're dealing with in society is a form of socialism for the wealthy so they can maintain their life styles whilst everyone else fights for the scraps. Wealth simply goes around the circle of the rich. Who don't even need to make a real profit. So long as their mates keep buying and selling the stocks, trading, and then repeating.

Of course one day this comes crashing down, but by then a lot of shitty games have been hyped and sold, and a lot of champagne & caviar has been consumed. We'll think about it when the time comes and migrate our investments elsewhere.

I didn't order it because all the female characters look disgustingly ugly and I'm sick and tired of this trend. But this reminds me of FO4, only buggier, uglier, with worse gameplay and even more unimaginative and cringe attempts to put some satirical cultural references in it. I highly doubt there's any story which is interesting enough to make playing this broken mess worthwhile. They have motion capture sex scenes. They could patch 43GB of body and penis textures and make it a sick sex simulator.

This one is gonna be a weird one for journos indeed. On one hand, they perceive it as transphobic, and CDPR shafted them for influencers. On the other hand, gamer chuds seem to hate what they're seeing of CP2077, and there's nothing journos love more than claiming a game is a masterpiece when the public hates it.

i could be totally off the mark but i honestly think lots of game journos are going to hate review this game. i'm expecting a lot of 6/10; 7/10 reviews. ign and some other sides are going to rate it 9 or higher of course. i really wanted this game to be good but it's going to be entertaining either way

CDPR staff must be under huge pressure right now. With the Brexit it will likely become quite difficult for Poles to get toilet cleaning jobs in UK, so getting laid off in case CDPR gets in trouble would likely get them in severe problems.


This is why I still believe the release version wont be as bad as the leaks make it look like.

Its kinda telling though that CDPR doesn’t make some kind of a statement regarding the leaked footage, instead they are banning all discussion of it on their platforms.

So apparently according with a youtube that sadly had to delete his video he spent just 11 hours to do the mainquest. 21 hours between the start and the final boss. And 37 hours side questing counting in wich half he spended learning about the system and doing sidequest. All this years for a tiny game?.. LOL LOL LOL

1. Witcher 3 is considered one of the best games ever in the mainstream
2. CDPR has enourmous good will thanks to their consumer friendly business practices
3. Years of hype
4. Keanu on stage
5. Several last minute delays
6. Good CG trailer

It's worth noting that RDR2 was only announced 2 years prior to its release, whereas 2077 was first announced in 2012.
So the hype sure has been building up for some time indeed.

2. Science fiction/cyberpunk videogames
