I find sex in tabletop RPG's creepy in the extreme. Don't think I would've made it that far.

It's not about sex, that's my point
I'm french and I can and have roleplay(ed) without much issue guy on girl, guy on guy, girl on girl, thing on thing, for hours if needed, in at least two languages and never laughing nor blushing, nor taking it seriously or having it become creepy (which usualy is when one party takes things seriously).
The issue was about elves and how the whole thing was presented, which is why it's related to what Infi wrote.

The problem is that you guys lost in the marketplace. There's just not a whole lot of money in catering exclusively to the alt-right/neoreactionary/GG fringe.

At the end it all comes down to monies.
Are GGs able to significantly alter the future sales? Might as well reconsider your stances.
Are they vocal minority who don't even play the game? Ignore and move on.

I don't think this is going to have an effect on any future BG content because as most have said the content is undeniably of a very high calibur. Wizards wouldnbe crazy not to see that.

No shit, the whole site was founded as a consequence of that (though it has nothing to do with identity politics). There will never by another Troika, Black Isle or LGS, the current (or post 2005) game industry is creatively bankrupt save for very few exceptions and looks to stay that way.

I don't follow the series but doesn't COD still sell in millions of copies? Regardless, GG is largely left-wing oriented and certainly seems larger in number than SJWs as evidenced by how they can prop up games like Hatred and sink (yet to be seen I guess) Beamdog.
