Last rpg with truly good balance I played was Battle Brothers. Perhaps I'm setting the bar way too high, but it seems most rpg games based on p&p systems have terrible balance, specially newer ones.

The original trilogy had OP builds that allowed you to munchkin through the game? Pathfinder games were worse. Then you need to pick unfair/nightmare difficulties to have a challenge, and the only way to win at these difficulties is to munchkin your way into exploiting the game systems.

A shame really. I place no high hopes here, being that they are catering to dumbfuck bear sex enthusiasts and other manner of sodomites. Tactician mode will provide some challenge hopefully - if they keep to their word.

Makes a good battlefield controller. Go human. Take feats Polearm Master, Martial Adept, and Sentinel. It may be worth splashing fighter to get Combat Style tunnel fighter and action surge.

Just as overpriced if not even moreso, the only sensible choice right now is a second-hand 3090 under warranty for 650 USD or a 4070 for under 600. Anything else is a waste of money.

I'm getting the 4090 for roughly 700 euros, second-hand with its warranty still valid, but it's from a trusted friend who barely uses his desktop and is switching over to a laptop instead, he just happened to ask me first if I was interested in buying it.

Destroy their pagan shrines and temples and make sure your party of Gnome males is circumcised else they will be separated from their people. Take no strange women from among them. When the "option" is eradicating the entire identity of a character, yeah.

To be honest, this has always been weird, going back decades. But at least Infinity Engine 2E days had the ruleset basically making it very hard to multi/dual-class after the fact, so you couldn't turn Imoen into a barbarian. This level of nonsense just makes characters utterly meaningless.
