The writing is even worse than DA:I, and looks worse as well.
You haven't played DA:I in a long time. It's not even half as bad as Bioware.
At least in DA:I they leave the cringe in the later parts of the romance, not in the "first date".

I don't see how anyone can think this is better than dragon age or ME's romance.
After da2, a huge chunk of positive interactions with companions are labeled as romance triggers.

In the case of ME, I agree, but it's still not as cringe as DA:I. If you don't mind wasting your life, you can check out youtube.
