Look, let's face it, RTwP only became popular off the back of Command & Conquer - it was a fad to make things that had formerly been cerebral and turn-based "real time" or "action."

Original BG3 was developed by Black Isle Studios and would have shared the engine with Black Isle' Fallout 3 aka Van Buren.

:negative:
Black Isle never planned to develop and release Baldur's Gate 3. They wanted to make another game that had nothing to do with Baldur's Gate, but WotC imposed the name on them.

Still, eternal despair for the fate of The Black Hound.

Thank God that never saw the light of day. Nearly all late 90s/early 00s 3D aged like absolute ass, 2D & pre-rendered games look far better on average. Not to mention that was still part of the era where most games have terrible camera controls.

This game will be about faggots descending into fairyland. And deep, deep the party delves into the fairy's caves ...

At any rate turn based is like picturing the following scene where 2 fine codex gentlemen take on the duel of their life:

But instead of gunblazing action, nerd A fires his gun but rolls a critical miss, then 5 secs later nerd b misfires. And this cycle of turn-based faggotry continues for all eternity.

Embrace the supreme real time master race!

Everquest looked damn good for it's time. Especially once they added higher resolution textures with the second expansion. You shut your whore mouth!

I am really hurting myself by posting these. It is the epitome of self-mutilation. But who of the codex tb fags is the nerd who posted this on youtube? Declare yourself!

Just look at the refined beauty of strategic RTWP (that will be disgraced by this unnatural, unwanted BG 3 baby that Swen brought to life):

Waiting 20 years for a successor of BG 2 and then Larian gives us this shit? My blood is boiling as I type this.

Even Dragon Age Origins expanded the rtwp action playstyle by giving additional mechanics to otherwise static enemies.

You feel like you are in an epic adventure where the flow of the game is natural. With turn based you only feel the epicness half the time with combat at snail pace.

Fuck this shit and fuck the monkeys on the codex.

Ontopoly's agent had cut down main electricity cable which powers up Swen's sacrificial chamber
Damn...Swen wearing his goat mask, was ready to fuck some virgins and eat some babies.
