There's a difference between magic existing in a fantasy world and statues defying the laws of physics in a fantasy world. Magic is established in that universe, but we're given no reason to believe that gravity or statues are different.
You may be right in the principle, but how many cRPGs games have the actual physics implemented? Not that many. Why? Because accurate simulation of the laws of physics isn't needed for them to work.

Apparently people* hate the 'inventory tetris system'. Shame as its an interesting take on inventory management.
What can help is the auto-sorting option. You are still limited, you still need to consider what to take and what to leave, but at least you don't have to play tetris.

Oh no, my d&d game is lacking realism, how awful.

You can't be serious... they teach you this in like 9th grade.

What you learn in 9th grade history class depends a lot on what country you go to school in

I'm assuming you are at least over 18 years old. It's one of the most famous mural paintings in all of Western history depicting some of the most important historic philosophers and mathematicians in the world. Seriously, I have no words.
Sucks that I'm not from a Western culture then. I don't understand half the shit you guys say here.
Where are you from, Onto?

I want to know what color our children are going to be.

That winged creature is a harpy, does that mean BG3 will have flying enemies?
The drow are a race separate from the other eleven subraces in BG3 so they will probably be important for the story. So a visit to the Underdark makes sense.
I suspect bevause drow and half drow will have a separate background tag in addition to the origin and background.

And now i expect 57 pages of discussion about drow porn.

He's the combat system.

Inventory tetris is a good compromise between realism and manageable UI. Especially when it comes with autosolver like in DX:HR.
The best practical system, though, would be a combination of tetris and mass.
With compartments corresponding to actual worn containers.
And nested containers (with normal container size always larger than its capacity).
And automatically updated inventory tree for ease of navigation.

Your equipped items shouldn't be in your inventory, your inventory should be in your equipped items.

Not passing this opportunity :obviously: :

:incline:

And in any case, game has to at least implement a decent semblance of a good part of classical mechanics, else your built-in solvers will cry foul - like with that statue.

So, this DOS 3 game I've been hearing about sounds neat, huh?
If you liked its prequels.
:troll:

He's the combat system.
Which is fine....unless you are 80 years old pampers filler with an alzheimer that wasted his hand-eye reflexes and coordination, playing TB games :smug:.
Yeah, Arcanum is definitely the very first game I think about when it comes to challenging my reflexes and hand-eye coordination.

I thought that multiclassing was out, but it will apparently be in the full release? I know that it might be old, but I learned about this a few minutes ago.

It’s not in early access, like a lot of races and classes.

I don't see why they wouldn't put multiclassing in (but I think it was confirmed it's going to be in?), they are implementing all the classes either way and the balancing is already done because it's a pre-made system.

I'm honestly disappointed nobody has autistically broken down every frame of the sizzler pointing out how shit the game is and how Larian have ruined their life.

Nah, after what we saw in the first gameplay reveal, this sizzler shit is pretty bland.

Sure, the statue-knocking arrow is nothing to scoff at, but it doesn't stand a chance against all the flames bow-dipping we already saw.

I hope that naked-chin shortass is a halfling or a gnome, not a dwarf.
And for some reason, I keep seeing Fort Joy in every shot.
Goblin.

I meant this one, not the dancing goblin.

That guy is a halfling, all official Halfling art in 5e looks weird. This one is my "favourite"

Sometimes i hope that WOTC just steals art from the internet.
