The goblin camp is so much fun. There's at least two instances where you can shove goblins to their deaths. Then there's the ways you can deal with the True Soul trio. The BDSM dude. The little owlbear. The Greataxe +1 you can find in a "secret" area. Killing Minthara, Gut and the big guy. And the best thing is, combat only starts if *you* instigate it.

Encountered a game breaking bug.

Whenever I went near the blush mermaid I automatically enter combat with the owner(that black lady they show in the panel) and she turns into a hag with 0 health. I can't kill her and the four minions she summoned is in somewhere far away.

Tried loading a earlier save (about 2 hours earlier) and the same happens.

I'm testing a solo run on balanced and it's super hyper painful. Not because it's necessarily hard, but it just takes forever to clear out 10+ mobs on one character.

Although, 31 functional AC and very high saves means I actually get hit once per hour of play or so lol.

Minor act 3 spoilers

Had to reload the save in a Volo fight, where he's tied to a bomb and you must save him before it's too late. I untied him, but he just kept standing near the bomb, apparently waiting for me to move his legs for him too. I'd be mad, but it's so in character for Volo, it's kind of funny.

Ha, I finally found a mod on Nexus that's actually useful!

Fix Bad DM makes Jump and Shove full actions (not Bonus) and restricts Dip to a few minor weapons. The cheapness of those abilities, on both player and NPC side, was beginning to get on my nerves - Jump being almost always better to use than move in most circumstances was getting a bit goofy-feeling, reminding me of the retarded jumping about people used to do in PvP in MMOs

I am using some other QOL and flavour mods - e.g. Improved UI (a few minor tweaks) and the Karlach head replacer (it's really annoying that she looks like she's just come out of a beauty salon while her body is all gnarled and grizzled, having a gnarled and grizzled face to match her body looks much better to me), but this is the first mod I've thought, "Yeah, this does fix something that Larian really broke - no doubt for the sake of Swen's 'fun.'"

not far in the game so i had ~1 tacticool encounter so far - with skellingtons in the undreground passage. after being almost overwhelmed by sheer numbers and winning with only my barbarian still standing(didn't rested even once yet, so my healing is "gathering around after battle and throwing 1-2 heal pots" and no combat healing available) i just parked everyone near the chasm and was running around with stronk barb, picking coffins one by one and throwing them to the rest of the party, where someone just pushed newborn skelly into the pit.

One thing that I'm enjoying a lot is that you can interact with the environment in so many ways... where other devs would put an invisible barrier or just decoration Larian makes it all work.

To be fair his pushy gayness is the least of his problems. His backstory is so fucking weird and I don't know how my Pally doesn't have more options about it. I think they really want him to be a posterboy for the game. At least Astarion's gayness is like a devil you know... he's flamboyant all the fucking time, so he'll do or say things that are expected of such a guy. But Gale is a fucking creep. And then he eats your magic items. I really need a second wizard as a companion. My second playthrough will be as one for sure.

Lae'zel is the only companion I can tolerate. Everyone you recruit has some affliction or curse on top of having a brain parasite, it's getting annoying.

The simpler times were better.

just use Q and E to rotate and WASD to move, double click on a character’s portrait to lock on to him.

seems pretty straightforward to me. I’ve also seen the ability to activate edge panning in the settings.
