This thing is the design lead on a Battletech game, you know, the franchise about non-stop conflict, wars, battles, with tens of tons of warmachines. This creature doesn't have enough T to touch the faggy jap ninja mechs, let alone Battletech.
Battletech and Mechwarrior lucked out in a way. It died, was forgotten and swept under the rug before "progressives" started destroying anything they could latch their parasitic tentacles to.

This tactic isn’t theoretical - in a recent battle, I snuck up behind our Lead Designer Kevin’s Centurion with a Jenner I’d reserved to Phase 1.

Well that takes on a whole other meaning now.

You know I'm as tired of kneejerk anti-SJW ranting on this forum as anybody, but this person Kiva seems to have an actual axe to grind. There's real potential for another Siege of Dragonspear-type meltdown here if Jordan and Mitch aren't laying down the law. They hired this guy when he was just some BattleTech nerd and suddenly he turned socjus tranny on them within six months. And it's not like they can fire him, not these days, not in Seattle. You've got to sympathize. Hopefully this being a tactics game and not an RPG, there's not much room to insert inflammatory stuff in the first place.

SoD was a different game made by different people. Just because SoD had one retarded writer it does not mean any future game from any studio will have those even if they are LGBT.

Not only one. Have you seen the rest of their offerings? It is an unholy mess of alphabet soup activism and a self-insert black pirate-zombie-ninja-vampire lesbian complete with an improbable backstory. Anything from Beamdog is automatically suspect, if not outright rejected.

Harebrained Schemes will also be judged on the merits of their product, which hasn't hit the shelves yet. Hopefully they would not screw up the (just about) only franchise left that has not fallen to SJW-ism.

Yeah it sucks when this happens, they basically picked up a bomb without knowing it. I've seen a bit of this first hand with companies I've worked with now, and trannies are hard to even criticize about their work without it turning into a shitshow. I do really wonder what he could get away with though? The meat of the game is mech-on-mech action and that seems to be where all the work is. As much as I dislike SJWs & obnoxious trannies, the anti-SJW brigade can be obnoxious about even a hint of SJW in anything. Some diversity stuff in the setting can be fine as long as it keeps the 3025 era battletech post-apoc feudalism as the overriding theme (nobles don't give a fuck about the ethnic makeup of their space peasants as long as they pay taxes.)

A nice solution to this would be if the companies we discuss could just stop hiring lunatics and focus on the actual games without having the need to push politics at every turn.

Battletech economics don't follow logic like that. It's more like: "Mine dangerous radioactive minerals on this barely habitable ball of dust on the fringe of space until you die young and your children take over your same job. If you revolt against this I'm going to send some mercs with big fuck-off mechs to slag you all and find some new gullible colonists to try "settling" this exciting frontier world" at least for the periphery setting this game is going for. The old sourcebooks on the fringe worlds had such a cool dismal atmosphere to them, I'm hoping they can capture a fraction of that.

After having played Shadowrun P&P for many years and read whatever novels and short stories I could grab, I can safely say you couldn't be further away from the truth.
They captured it almost perfectly in the games - the writing and style, that is.
You might simply not like Shadowrun.

The characters were too talkative, though, that's true.
But I doubt they will be in Battletech. Afaik, the game is more focused on mechs, so I doubt there will be tons of talking.
