Yeah basically, the plot is non-existent bullshit used to display the world in the show.Ergo Proxy is great if you want to watch a confusing ugly mess and try to figure out what the fuck you just watched.
Ergo Proxy strongest parts are in those moments where mc explores world not in the plot. Plot is at the end effectively and it is basically typical deus ex machina.
I just can't get enough of this shit
I actually had a PS4 and that sounds par for the course for a heavy open world game running on that shitty hardware. Where were the bestbuy and sony refunds for AC Unity, Mad Max, Batman Arkham Knight, Fallout 4 etc? And let's not forget the shitshow that was GTA5 on the PS3/X360...25?According to some Digital Foundry/IGN videos I saw on base ps4/xbone it's generally around 25 while you walk around the city and it regularly drops below 20 during action sequences/combat
I swear, car lot spamcalls in Poland must be real hell if somebody thought this was normal and okayed it into the game.

The game's barely been out for a week, a week. It took longer than that for VTM Bloodlines to get a patch that even allowed you to finish the game.
And that is what this game is: it’s weird. It is a title of two halves. On one hand, it’s a phenomenally well-crafted story and a gorgeously realized world with combat that, while not deep, is still fun, but on the other, are gameplay choices that don’t add up to much and features that seem like they’re missing. Throw in the many bugs and crashes, and the reality is that the game isn’t done. I have zero doubts that car customization options will be added in later, as will more combat techniques. I fully believe the world will be further fleshed out, with more to do, and the bugs will eventually be squashed. Likewise, the police will likely be altered, as will the overall NPC AI. But I can’t review a game on what it might be later on, I have to review it on what it is now, and, in its current state, is an immensely fun experience but one that, at every turn, left me disappointed at what it could’ve been.
Many people will pick up Cyberpunk 2077 and have fun. Admittedly, I had a lot of fun. Even factoring in all my many complaints, it’s one of the most enjoyable experiences of the year, but a game can give you a first impression only once, and I recommend people wait until this title has been updated and completely revamped. In six to 12 months, it’ll be a different experience, and I think people owe it to themselves to play it once it finds its true potential. For if it can unlock that, then this could share a tier with The Witcher 3, but it’s going to take a lot of work for CDPR to get it there. Hopefully, they have it in them, because it deserves more.
It did make me wonder why I was dying about as fast as when I had all my armor on.
Did some testing with a sniper guy I found and I learned that the difference between 212 armor and 685 armor is a 20% reduction in damage. Not the most reliable study since the damage is probably randomized, wonder if someone did an actual mechanical analysis (fextralife says it's 40 armor per 1 less point of damage but that was clearly not the case with the sniper)
So berserk implant is garbage?
I wonder why the game even drops the resolution in action on consoles, the bottleneck is clearly on CPU side.
I have no idea what happened behind closed doors, but the entire dumpster fire made it seem like the refund apology came as an absolute surprise to both Microsoft and Sony, who then had to scramble their PR teams.
This message is like when you get dumped and you say it's mutual.
It may be on a per shot base, as I have the feeling that armor helps more against SMG's, which have a low per bullet damage. Didn't really do any serious testing though. It did make me wonder why I was dying about as fast as when I had all my armor on.

So I can wear whatever I want as armor value is mostly irrelevant?
No more looking like dumpster diving hobo!?
BALANCED.
No one wakes up in the morning going "I think I'll deceive a bunch of PS4 owners and take their money today."

People were wondering why there was nude option in char maker. From 2020 sourcebook.
It has one BIG benefit: when you activate it and swing a melee weapon it levels up your athletic real fast, and you don't need to hit a target for itSo berserk implant is garbage? You lose all access to hacking, gives you 10sec of +10% to stuff, with massive cooldown, so most likely you use it once per fight. What a waste of time.
+10% to this and that, so happy this is where game design is at now...
What exactly are people liking in this game?
