Fixed an issue where bright, colorful flashes appeared at the edges of certain objects when DLSS was enabled.

I'll believe this when I (don't) see it.

Player shadows working as intended.

By god, the game looks awful, these animations , the shitty blood splatter everytime he punches , the shadows straight from a 3dfx game , The shitty textures on the ground.

5 Years of development + 2 years of bug-fixing.

What happened?

That's both impressive and bizarre at the same time.
Because only the arms move instead of the whole body when punching, it's reminiscent of vr games. The bare minimum they could have done is at least get the shoulders involved in the attack animation even if you never see it in action directly.

I killed Oda today. Couldn't find a good way to cheese him so I ended up mowing him down old-fashioned with Widowmaker and about two dozen frag grenades. The AI doesn't seem to have an effective defense vs Tech weapons. Would be cool to try to duel him melee next time, if I ever bothered to learn this game's melee mechanics.

Oda was supposed to be the final boss, which is why he's the only fight with mechanics. Good encounter, just glitches if you down him while in mid-air because then he drops into his It's Over state while levitating. I'm pretty sure if you can't reach him to talk you can brick your save

its actually easier, you just time your parries.

Melee is in really weird state in cp77, certain bosses like those using exoskeletons cant be even approached. I wonder what dlc will bring

I mean, if they introduced more systems in this expansion and whole overhaul thing actually works, with some mods it can become a pretty darn good game. I'm keeping my eyes on the expansion right now. We'll see how far they pushed it.

Yes, that is why I will buy a $1000 videocard! So that I can have pitch black darkness while I'm sliding down a pipe.
Fun fact, this is a literal screenshot from Cyberpunk 2077, a game featuring a cybernetically-augmented protagonist who can't see in the dark. If you look carefully, there's an NPC in the back. He's a quest objective turned trader, he sells you hacker shit. If you can find him. Literally.

And it won Codex GotY 2015 over both Underrail and Age of Decadence. :M
No one can tell what an RPG is anymore, even on here.
CDPR never made a single RPG, at best The Witcher was an action game with RPG element and good writing, they shouldn't even be featured on here, much less their popamole action garbage (TW2, TW3, Cybershit 2077).

I blame Bloodlines.

To be fair, if a game has rpg elements, a story and is based on a marquee pnp rpg (or fantasy novel), we basically count it as a rpg. Hence Bloodlines and CP2077 are rpgs, while Yakuza, Ghosts of Tsushima and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy are not, despite having skill trees, experience points, gear, etc... We don't even count Mechwarrior 5 as an rpg since Battletech is primarily a wargaming franchise and not a rpg franchise, despite having more or less the same systems and gameplay loops as HBS Battletech.

V's scuba equipment: Yes

You forgot the one above. Which makes this even more stupid! Yes, a sniper rifle has light enhancement and Yes, there is a flashlight in the underwater mission. So technically both are already in the game, modders help us!
