Did the nomad intro---my V fixed his car's engine without opening it, and npcs in the little town spawned out of thin air. Lovely.

Not enough sex in this game...

that's what you zoomers like, huh?
It's kinda weird how her boobas jiggled like crazy, as if they were two pieces of jello stuck to her chest. JRPG tier of booba physics.

Uninstalled the game after 3 hours, it's way edgier (and jankier) than I remembered, also had 5 crashes during that time. Not gonna bother with the DLC, enjoy kids.

Modding for this game is such a labyrinthine clusterfuck.
Even mod dependencies have dependencies far worse than anything I've seen in other games.

I don't think you guys are wrong, its just that you are too overstimulated to enjoy Starfield. It's impossible to play Cyberpunk without some kind of visual or auditory distraction popping up every 0.5 seconds. And the sex, oh boy it's so overblown and cringe. And this is what people who hate on Starfield are enjoying... No, you are not wrong, you are just victims of our modern times and I pity you.

This bitching about stamina cost is just making you look stupid. Have you ever tried to fire a pistol, or any other firearm with a caliber larger than .22? I promise you it takes a toll on your stamina, even more if it's a semi auto shotgun or an assault rifle.

I do agree that sprint should be tied to stamina, and this will soon be done by modders.

"You see you need to be 80 years old to enjoy Starfield's true majesty..."
"Sex is icky...even though the world of Cyberpunk isn't meant to celebrate sex and consumerism but warn against commercialization and exploitation of everything."
It's supposed to be over the top, that's the point of the shithole version of the world the game exists in.
What the fuck even is this weird point you're trying to make?

Cyberpunk has two modes of play - open world clear-the-outposts-upgrade-your-character shooter, and an on-rails interactive movie where from time to time you select a line of dialogue to progress the script, which just as well might have not been there, as your choices don't matter for the overall script. But I guess it seemed too much even for them to remove dialogue choice altogether and have missions play like RDR missions.

The similarity with Starfield is that in both games, if you don't enjoy the loop of clearing out enemy bases and progressing your build, and larping around with your vehicle simply exploring the world, you'll find little else to do of substance. Starfield throws in a larger number of collectathons, and if this serves as a meaningful activity to you then go with god.

You could always say "it's just busywork" and you would be right for any open world game, even for any game, if you see through the gameplay loop. What makes Cyberpunk the better distraction than Starfield for me is the better internal consistency of the world, and the overall bigger percentage of my time spent where I am in control of things. If I make a statistics report on it, I suspect it will turn out that I spend most of my time in Starfield in some kind of UI.

My Cyberpunk open world gameplay is driving through town and taking in the sights, listening to my custom radio, then shooting up some gang hideout which is a hand-crafted area mind you, and this repeats in about 15-mins intervals. In Starfield there are not much sights to take in, loading screens harm the immersion factor, and the combat locations are proc-generated.

EDIT: Vyvian is right, the world is supposed to be over the top, though in an 80s action movie way, not in the GTA parody way. Once you internalize this, you start to understand why characters talk and act as they do. But this tone goes back to the original tabletop game.

I have over 100 hours in Cyberpunk buddy, I know the drill. And lol that the sex is supposed to be satire, where that was not my point, it's the effect it has on me as the player, which is a stark contrast to the calmer, or more boring as you would say, tone of Starfield, hence why I made the comparison because I've been playing both recently.

carry on fellas, I'm not here to hate on the game, just left my 2 cents

I'm not going out to convince you of anything, I even say it explictly "Cyberpunk is the better distraction than Starfield for me..." It's just thoughts I've had on comparing the games irrespective of your comparing them.

Does the city have more activities to do now or it still feels dead?

I remember that I loved the city of this game but exploring it wasn't that fun because it lacked interactivity.

I was watching Josh Sawyer's Cyberpunk livestream a while back, and he said that he wanted to make a balance mod for CB2077, similar to the one he did for New Vegas, but it turned out that the game is really hard to mod, with the way all the systems interact with each other etc.

Alright so I'm an hour or two into the game, finished the trauma team rescue mission. The game runs smooth as hell (100-150 FPS) and looks fucking great on my HDR monitor. Not running RT or anything but it's a good-looking game. Especially compared to the fucking potato-tier visuals of Starfield - which runs at 1/3 of the fucking frame rate and isn't half as good, visually.

However, the game kinda shows its age here and there. The movement and controls are still a bit awkward (not even gonna go there with the key rebinding issue, JFC. good thing I have a programmable keyboard). The NPC movement is still janky at times - the occasional NPC walking into or even through a wall near my apartment. A moment of awkward driving from Jackie as he pulls away and almost drives into a wall. Nowhere near the complete trainwreck that the game was at launch, but not perfect either.

I'm enjoying the game so far but it does feel a little bit like retreading old ground at the moment. Hopefully it'll keep me hooked as I progress further. Only dabbled very slightly with weapon modding, just threw a sight and a muzzle brake onto my iconic pistol, but I really like how weapons aren't levelled anymore, that shit was fucking retarded.

I went with Streetkid this time, I liked it a lot more than Corpo. My old character was a Nomad, I think Nomad or Streetkid suit V pretty well. Not that it really matters past the first hour.

It's not that hard. There are a few underlying mods that most of the others depend on. See these posts:

Btw:
Doesn't look like she has an ingame model. Pity. I imagine where this would have led to.
