Played around 4 hours of this.

Awful performance, terrible TAA solution that makes everything blurry as shit, shitty animations, awful, toddler-level gameplay (shooting reminded me of Outer Worlds, it's that bad) with surface-level stats that don't actually matter at all, zero difficulty, I could go on and on. But hey, at least the neon and reflections looks cool huh?

So in the heist mission Morales-Pendejo-what's-his-name just yelled constantly like an absolute retard "BE QUIET V!" "THEY CAN HEAR YOU, V", ran right into the vision of guards with no response for them...Truly fucking realistic. Why the hell am I supposed to care about this guy? Because the game tells me? Fuck off! Also, the game keeps trying to convince me that we're good guys, but aren't we like, criminals? Also, the stealth is broken, you can just stand for a couple of seconds in front of enemies and they will just ignore you until their meter is full.

Fucking Red Drones still shilling for the game. Absolutely shameful. Utter disgrace. Shame on me too for preordering. I'm a fucking retard.

i disabled everything i could via control panel but fps are still shit. i tried to give the game another chance, but the amount of random and systemic crashes is too damn high. it's a barely working alpha.

Yeah, see that's how I know you bought into the Hype machine and were smelling the farts. I don't care what CDPR does with their money or what their budget is for their games. If the game is decent, that's alright with me. Their financials are a personal issue.

You wouldn't know the difference between your ass and the mouth, considering the amount of shit you've just spewed forth from the latter, retard. If anything, I was amazed that over the years, the game kept the hype and attention around it, considering significant cuts of content and a not-so-obscured genre and concept change. Even noted it in some of my previous posts, I seldom engage in playing modern shit as is.
But yeah, this is a debacle despite yours or mine lack of interest in their financial standings, because it's only reasonable to judge the developers in this regard also. When bars are set at a certain height - by developers themselves, it is only due that they amount up to those heights, it's not a matter of whether you are satisfied with the diarrhea on your plate (like you are now) or not.
You are even wrong about the game being a decent one, at that. Even if one is extremely generous, calling it a mediocrity would be a compliment.

Played around 20 hours, more of them just running around an not far in the story.
The Bad:
1. They really need to work on the AI. They are dumb trying to zero in on you but will get stuck when kited. CoD seems to have better shooting AI than this.
2. Stealth is incredibly awkward. Now that in and on itself might be OK? But coupled with the bad AI it just breaks the game. Upon finding a body the AI will be in this weird loop of patrolling near the body while shouting taunts at you. Then you need to break the AI routine by hacking. If you are not really into hacking stealth is 100% broken and not viable.
3. Police system is bad.
4. Activities. Like I dunno 95% of the open-world activities are just getting to a node and blasting enemy. Saints Row 3 and Ubisoft games ironically had some more entertaining side activities.
5. The feel is not really Cyberpunkish outside of the main story. I guess this is hard to do, but in most side quests up to this point just feels like you are a random ganger/criminal. Like every gig is just "Dude go here, extract this item, there bunch of enemies you can stealth/shoot em.
6. Weapon customization is half-assed.
7. MMO Itemization.

The OK:
1. Shooting is fine... if not for the terrible AI. A lot of the additional shooting mechanics is half-arsed and unused. Yeah, dude we can richoet using Power weapon but who the fuck care when you can just walk, gobble up potions, and blast them in the face? Its kinda feature that's there just to be there. You can use it but why would you?
2. Feats are over the place. Stealth perks for example the most interesting ones like jumping takedown, throwing knives... are absolutely useless due to the broken stealth system (and thrown knives can't be recovered). Hacking stuffs are kinda good.
3. In general the side-quest area has a more open style to them. You can go gun blazing. Try to find side entrances. Those we are in the open world (as opposed to inside a building) has a good sense of using elevation. Trying to find a good spot for sniping for example.
4. Main story is the only time where the game feels cyberpunkish. But they are often way too linear and scripted.

Honestly, the game could be a fun sandbox-style game, I do somewhat enjoy my 20 hours but this is waaaay far from being an acceptable release condition. They need to fix the AI and add more activities beside "go there and shoot people."

I tried doing a boxing mission where you fight two bodies sharing a single mind. It was really frustrating because when they attack they lock on to you and can turn in midair during an attack if you dodge. The melee fights definitely suck. I also find it annoying that the hottest available girl for a romance is a dyke and can't be banged as a male V.
