Using magic always felt weird in Archolos like it was modded in and never was supposed to be part of the game, it's good to see that they will rework magic in both story and gameplay. I wonder, did they planned it originally and decided to cut it so they could concentrate on other parts of the game or it's all new content? Also I like the use of spells for exploration and not just combat in the video.

I hope the dev time indicates the scope of the new content, rather than that they're running on skeleton crew...

I think the devs said it multiple times that they are all busy with other things. And some of them work in the industry now.

Still beats wating for some shite RPG for 5 years that will be half pozzed half broken on release lmao.

Besides, i replayed this recently along with G1-G2

Finally I beat this game. Took me four months - 130 hours of play. Overall a good, solid game, not without flaws. For example, what is the point of the Sailor's retreat and Amber coast locations? They are practically unused and lifeless.

They feature in the smuggling questline and as guild mercenary's way to the pirate lair. They also have quests and exploration of their own. Is this your view of the mod's flaws? That not every location is bustling and absolutely brimming with content?

I played as a guard. Teachers - Hershlik and Frida. For this kind of playthrough, these locations are not needed. The side quests there are not inspiring, there is nothing to do and nothing to see.

Wonder if we'll finally meet the witch in more than a "she randomly appears in a hut and tries to kill you with zombies then teleports away" sort of way.

I mean, we know she actually exists due to that random encounter, and she's probably responsible for what happens to

Okay so as expected, the game rules, but I keep getting a weird graphical glitch upon entering Archolos, and moving through the forest, and now in town. The only non-default graphical change I made was to have there be environmental sounds in the caves. I doubt that is causing this, though...

EDIT: The glitch is that the graphics "run into each other" - it's awful and obscures the entire screen, roughly. I am pausing until I figure this out and fix it, it even obscures dialogue choices.

Is there any news of when the Awesum Enhanced Next-Gen Gold Edition is coming out? I'd like to replay it some time early next year and I hope by the time it will be out.

I believe so, yes. I was wondering if this was the culprit since I see an apparent push for use of dx7 on one of the FAQs on Steam?
