Is this on par with Gothic/Gothic 2?
I'd say so. I had an absolute blast with it the whole way through.
Certainly scratched the Gothic itch.

I've beaten G2NotR at least 20 times total in my lifetime, probably more. Still have a physical copy I bought around 2008 I think. Game has been my childhood. Day 4 of playing CoM, 24 hours of play time. Unironically better than crack. My social life is dead.Is this on par with Gothic/Gothic 2?

Gothic games are great until about chapter 4 whn they fall apart due to all the retarted fantasy shit and lack of content. The most interesting stuff like conflict between different factions is never expanded upon because we have to deal with retarted dragons or sleeper or other bs. I would love a gothic game focused on faction conflict without gods, demons and ancient evil where joining a faction really changes the storyline instead of being glorified flavour. Is this on par with Gothic/Gothic 2?
It's grander for sure. I wouldn't say it's better, some things are definitely better and some things i don't like, but it's a high quality stuff. And a good addition to gothic series. I'd canonize it as official Gothic prequel game if it were up to me.
Other kings guard replaced him he should be in the same spot talk to him.Aaahhh where is that fucking Euric! I gave In Extremo all armors and suits but that fuck somehow vanished.
Also too bad they did not put a cap on praying to Innos, seems like it's still an infinite money-to-hit-points converter, but given that money is much more valueable and you probably won't be able to afford everything you want this may not be a big deal at all.
And thisI know this is a sacrilige and all, but is there a way to play Gothic 2 (and this mod in particular) with Xbone controller? I don't have a monitor and table setup anymore.

A dungeon is a bit of a stretch mate,it is three rooms of which you could visit only two. I just opened the right one before i could even know that there was a choice and shit. Anything good in the left one ?There is another isolated beach and cave nearby with much higher level monsters than everywhere else. Related?
As far as I could find, there was nothing related to that quest there. But there's a very cool dungeon (which rekt me within 10 seconds despite being level 28 or so and with decent armor) if you have a certain key to unlock it.
Most likely you don't have enough money, you have to pay him later to get the deed. Try it with like 3000 gold in your inventory.Did you buy the right clothes? Open your jorunal and see if it says "I have the right outfit with me. I can take it to Kazeem", if it doesn't, then the game doesn't view the clothes you bought as the correct ones.I'm doing the quest for acquiring a house in Old Town, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do.
I hung all the notices and worked out a deal with Kazeem. I have the 1K gold and bought a set of rich merchant garb from the tailor, but neither Kazeem or the guy in charge of the auction are giving any more dialogue options.
I bought literally every piece of clothing the tailor offers just to be sure, and I still can't do shit. Guess the quest bugged out, rip to my home.
Pretty much yeah, some parts are better some are worst. Is this on par with Gothic/Gothic 2?
Yeah it seems that there is certain amount you could get before innos tells you to fuck off. Is around 200-300 hp.Also too bad they did not put a cap on praying to Innos, seems like it's still an infinite money-to-hit-points converter, but given that money is much more valueable and you probably won't be able to afford everything you want this may not be a big deal at all.
I think they did. I can no longer offer gold to Innos. My regular level-based HP are 508, but including bonuses it's 745, so about 240 HP gained through bonuses and I can't get any more from Innos.
She has a shop near the shrine of water mages in the city negro.Where/who is Alice for the Merchant's War quest?
A few of them have apparently already been hired by CDPR and other studios solely due to their work on the mod, so I don't think that outcome is very likely.Have these guys shown any ambition toward founding their own studio and making AA open world proper RPG good Action games?
This is excellent proof of their skill
This mod has already "sold" around 300,000 copies on all its various platforms, with peak simultaneous players on steam alone passing 10k in the first week. This kind of thing is obviously exactly what a lot of gamers want, the problem is I really doubt anyone with decision-making power is ever going to listen.Honestly, I'm surprised there are so few indie game studios making Gothic-like games. All ingrediants are there: current lvl of technology is high, cheap and easy to learn, HD Gothic lvl of graphics with good art style are financially cheap (DO NOT make games in EU, make them in Balkans/Eastern Europe), ease of publishing on Steam etc... It's really a missed oportunity, especially with time gap between Skyrim 1 and Skyrim 2 being INSANE 10+ years, to not capitalize on STARRRRVING audience
So starving that they pay full price for Skyrim+:Fishing Edition after ten years. One of best selling games in 2021.
You have a coded letter in your inventory that you are now able to read.Is there any way to save Jon in the silver mine? Also, what is written in "the key to the cipher"? When I interacted with it, Marvin just said something like "it's all clear now!" but it didn't show me any text, or was it supposed to work like this?
You're supposed to read the cyphered note you picked off Jon again - it will be readable now.Is there any way to save Jon in the silver mine? Also, what is written in "the key to the cipher"? The Chronicles of Myrtana: Archolos announced Mod of the Year 2021!

This is a great honour for us, and we want to sincerely thank all those who gave their vote for us in this contest. Without you this victory would not have been possible. It is thanks to the commitment of all the fans that the Gothic brand is still alive and well - even almost two decades after the release of the first games.
We could not have dreamed of a better community, and we hope that you will visit Archolos as often as you set foot on Khorinis for all these years!
May the grace of Adanos always shine upon you!
I already have the key to the temple in the swamps. I'm talking the locked door in the cave near sailor's retreat, the one where you find a dead demon in the middle of a large pentagram. The door to the temple in the swamps opens with a key you get from the museum curator in archolos who collects old coins. Did you miss him entirely? The sword-key should be one of the first things he gives you
That is the cave that i wrote earlier about, there should be demon summoning scroll around there.I already have the key to the temple in the swamps. Can't really say, sorry. I've only taken some time to find a bit of an answer. I don't play it with a gamepad myself. And thisI know this is a sacrilige and all, but is there a way to play Gothic 2 (and this mod in particular) with Xbone controller? I don't have a monitor and table setup anymore.

I tried using the Union mod manger to get the pre-configured zGamepad plug-in working with this but it did not go well. Cry me an error pop-up. Like the above poster, I do all gaming from my couch now and prefer a controller but do have a mouse and mechanical cordless KB nearby me in the event something simply will not support a controller but otherwise I have become one with my comfy couch these days and don't need no stinkin' hunching over a computer desk.
One other thing: how buggy is this? Saw some guy on Steam or something saying that he'd be about to administer the coup-de-grace in a big battle or solve an important puzzle when he'd get suddenly teleported to inappropriate areas; which is kind of funny if true... as long as it only happens to the other guy.
