I don't expect most people will watch this, but to sum it up: Yes, it is buggy as fuck, and the melee does not feel good. But character progression, characters, quests, character costumization is great, and it looks gorgeous on a high end PC.
First thirty seconds,
"we weren't allowed to use our own recorded footage."
No idea what anyone is on about. Nothing to look at here. Pay no attention to the slav behind the curtain!
Hey faggot what about that dvd project blue insider info that you were supposed to share? WHAT IS HAPPENING THERE MISTER GAYME DEVELOPER?
Review list:
The AI doesn't want to flank, use grenades and consumables or fight for its life. No locational damage used by both sides of the combat. Nothing. A mere damage exchange is super boring with or without flashy animations and sound. That's why realistic difficulty a la Deus Ex doesn't work with vanilla gamedesign.
I really don't know much but I guess the AI will struggle throughout the game's lifetime. Enemies in Witcher 3 knew how to surround you and had a few attacks depending on their distance from you. Here they are supposed to be able to use items in their inventory, take cover, navigate more complex spaces, and other stuff which will have been coded from zero. It wouldn't surprise me if Deus Ex in Unreal engine ends up being the one with superior AI.AI is not stellar by any means, but this seems to be a way to enjoy the game while safely ignoring its worst aspects
I am a massive stealth fag, so game might be OK for me. The car stuff is sooo bad I find it hard to believe, but hopefully this could be easily patched/moded. Unless the AI and gunplay in general receive serious overhaul, this will suck as a shooter.

You'd think we would have appreciated some gameplay footage instead of his face
I'm sure it was his idea to not show any footage about a game. Oh wait, no, he explains in the first few minutes that the review embargo doesn't allow recorded footage until dec. 9.
Why the FUCK is Codex not included in metacritic when such literally whos are?
And what kind of score would the Codex submit when we don't give scores in our reviews?Review list:

It is fishy, and I'm pretty sure it's because the game looks very buggy and they didn't want to show that. Let's hope the day 1 patch improves a lot.I'm sure it was his idea to not show any footage about a game. Oh wait, no, he explains in the first few minutes that the review embargo doesn't allow recorded footage until dec. 9.
That's new to me and absolutely not fishy but whatever
Review scores are retarted the only question a review should anwser is the game worth your time? And what kind of score would the Codex submit when we don't give scores in our reviews?
So much better C&C and reactivity than the witcher, sounds good to me.Here, all you need to know.
After putting roughly 45 hours into Cyberpunk 2077, I was able to beat it seven different ways, including three drastically different final missions and five wildly different but satisfying endings after them (plus one similar one) – and I still have plenty more to do and lots of mysteries to hunt down. The more time you put in, the richer the payoff you’ll get in the end.

People no. This site yes. lolPeople will argue whether it's a RPG for years to come
I totally agree, I just said that even if the Codex would have a chance to get into Metacritic, we couldn't submit a score.Review scores are retarted the only question a review should anwser is the game worth your time? And what kind of score would the Codex submit when we don't give scores in our reviews?

Why? Gog galaxy has the same functions it auto updates like steam.Looks like with many updates and hotfixes incoming, I think Steam will be the platform to go for most people if they are interested in playing the game.
I hope now that GOG has Galaxy, CD Project can push out the patches there in sync with Steam.Looks like with many updates and hotfixes incoming, I think Steam will be the platform to go for most people if they are interested in playing the game.
