I tried the season and holy fuck is this the most boring game ever. Even thinking about logging in feels like a slog. Renown refarming is shit, itemization is incredibly convoluted and boring, every single dungeon is the same, there is no context cohesion and to crown this the level scaling makes certain the game remains fucking slog no matter where you go. All of this was clear from beta. We said that was the game and that people should stay away but like always people in shit ignore those outside yelling at them to get out of the shit

The campaign was entertaining enough for a playthrough.

I played it recently and figured out its gameplay feel is worse than PoE so after about 50+ hours of D2R I went back to PoE. But I got my money worth for 14E I payed for it.
Also I had more fun playing Path of Diablo mod for D2

It is mostly because of hell immunity design. The whole game turned into a drag at hell difficulty. I brought two characters to hell act 2-3 and got bored.
I guess when I was younger and D2 was only RPG available and I had no other options I made myself finish act5 on hell difficulty but now I got so many more games I can play instead.
