Are there any serpents in this game? I need a new avatar.
Betting my marbles it won't. In the latest video Sven says that the next *patch will be around that date, and they are still deciding on final featureset for release. I'd call end of May or early June. So, how "done" does the beta feel? Does it seem like it will make the April 25 release date?
Have you not played the alpha?Today I met a giant talking sea shell and could choose whether to throw it into the ocean again or sell it to a merchant for cash.
Yep, this game's gonna be fucking awesome.
Was that in the alpha? Must have missed it.Have you not played the alpha?
Yes, it's a sequel that takes place (time) a few decades after the first game, but it's not a direct continuation of the plot, rather a separate story that happens after the events of Divine Divinity. Some characters appear in both. The world is the same, obviously.Does Divinity 2 have any relation to Divine Divinity? (characters, plot, races, world etc)?
The first 3 Divinities are all set within the same arc of trying to defeat Damian, and DC and D:OS are from before. I wonder if actually finishing off that Damian dude is reserved for the RPG-to-dwarf-them-all.
You should, it's a good game.I'm asking because i played Divine Divinity and have Divinity 2 in my library (from some bundle or such) and was wondering if i should play it.

Not that I particularly care but, we're still in past-history territory with Original Sin?
huh
Ugh, I've already spoiled myself sufficiently in the alpha, such that spoiling myself in the beta is painful. I need to take a long break from Cyseal.
It's the same problem BG2 had with Irenicus' dungeon. You're exposed to the same content again and again everytime you start a new game. Not much to be done about it though.
