What's the magic underwear look like? Is it the blue stuff with the stars?

I seem to be missing a lot of KS backer stuff. I do have the pet, and I found my Message in a bottle. But no DLC or potions or other things. My steam thing is blank as far as DLC goes.

"There is no downloadable content available for this game."

:outrage:

Same here.

I got the message in bottle and "Kickstarter edition: You're awesome!" message on the menu. But no magic underwear or pet. :(

The game is stuttering for me. It auto detected ultra, and I should be able to run ultra smoothly (12 GB RAM, 2GB NVIDIA Card) but it isn't. I reduced it to High but it is still stuttering, although somewhat reduced. Easily playable, but v. annoying. Anyone know if it is an optimization issue? Strange part is the beta ran smoothly at ultra.

pakoito Teleport seems sucky to me, yeah you can open chests and auto pickup shit from a distance, which is cool, but in combat you just toss an enemy to the ground. You can't really have fun with it by teleporting yourself around. Why do you like it?

Anyone know if Pet Pal talent is worth it?

How do you get the editor to work? From the ingame menu?

Teleport is very good for repositioning stuff in ground effects.

In a version of the game where ground effects weren't there or were meager in effect, I'd view it as nothing but an expensive kiting tool.

I don't have access to the Internet because I'm at a friend's house helping him move and we don't have the Internet yet. I'm currently in a Tim Horton's waiting for the download to complete, this better be worth it and play on my ThinkPad W520.

Does the game support Steam cloud saves?

How can such a simple bare bones engine like this stutter on high end rigs, what kind of clownesque trash is this?

Haven't had as much time to play as I would like, but I've put a few hours in, and simply loving it so far. Co-op is surprisingly fun, and works quite well. I can't really think of anything to complain about so far, pretty rare. I hope this level of quality keeps up until the end.

My laptop runs it smooth as butter with everything on max, it's either a problem with specific drivers or shit on their computer

My 3 year old self-built computer runs at max settings perfectly smoothly, with ~3 second saves and ~10 second loads. Very happy. The game is as awesome as it was at alpha, looked around Cyseal a fair bit and now looking a bit around the neighbouring areas, nearkly done with how far I got in Alpha (I had never solved the murder mystery, either).

Level 3 party got into a pickle against a certain enemy which sprays fire on you, but Nietzsche the intrepid ubermensch snuck up, stunned it, then fired arrows into it quick enough that it exploded, taking the rest of its friends with him. Freud just had to come in and resurrect the poor fellow.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Serpent in the Staglands Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Kingmaker Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
Digging it. Everyone should get it.

D:OS shout-out in next Pillars update. Make it happen.

For bonus points, organize a Sawyer/Avellone LP. Josh can break the game by exploiting all the imbalances and rescue MCA when he tries to take on the crabs in melee with a wizard.

Are the updated tracks from DivDiv making anyone else unreasonably happy when they begin to play?

Are Summoned pets stealing XP points as it was intended or is it a bug? Game is stuttering +M on ultra and less so on high and load times are atrocious but game from half hour Commmissar played her is fun, complex and demanding. :incline:

Any projections for how long a first playthrough will take? Hoping 50-75 hours optimistically.

Having tons of fun with the game; still at Cyseal taking my sweet time, so not very far. I was a bit scetchy at first at the idea of the practice of "arguing with myself" in the game, but it has turned out to be quite interesting so far and I'm developing a healthy schitzophrenia. There's some actual roleplaying there and the ton of character building opportunities don't feel like a game of sudoku, a forced "game the system - fuck I need that one point there" nor insignificant (at least so far). The game doesn't feel heavyhanded despite the wealth of options, but sufficiently lighthearted. 95$ well spent. The incline is indeed here.

The reviewer at Gameinformer for this game made a quicklook vid. Said that it's he's top 10 game of the year and maybe top 5, still needs to finish it and the review will come out soon. Overall he praises the game a lot and loves the combat.

You can tell he likes it by how he skips the cinematic at the beginning of the game in the video.

The conversations between the two protagonists is far and away my favorite story part so far. Right now my pair are both heartless romantics. Heartless to everyone else, romantic with each other.

Brilliant. Best conversation idea since the Party Conversation System. Put that on the back of the box.

Serpent in the Staglands Shadorwun: Hong Kong
Dipped my toe in yesterday, and plunged a little deeper today. My initial impression is the mechanics appear to be pretty robust. I engaged a mob of skeletons west of Cyseal and by the time I managed to take out the fighters and priest, the archers on the cliff were in ideal range and outpacing my healing capability per round. After losing that, I had to situp and start thinking about what I was doing. No mental slouching, I needed to take the environment into account and maximize my stuns to slow down advances. Also, Larian had a lot of charm in the awkward writing of Divinity 2. It's nice to see the charm present in this game without as much of the awkwardness (though I saw one typo). I was messing around with Kingdoms of Amalur before this game was released (cheap steam sale), but now I think that's getting pushed to the side. This game has my attention.

Im basically missing all my digital out-of-game extras (via Steam) and although i entered my backer code when creating the game profile , most in-game extras. I only got my pet rat.

The game itself is great so far though.

Codex should build a list of serial killers known to have named their alternate personality/identities. Need more suggestions for character names:).

Teleport is very useful you can move creatures back into a chokepoint, teleport the boss away, save your companion / co-op mate, use it to move barrels into a better location.

petpal... well they give hints, tips, useless info. There are also some quests that you can only get with said talent.

Oh also, after watching the Credits for about an hour or so, i saw myself listed (yeah!, too bad i didnt include interesting cyrillic characters in my name, but hey hindsight) BUT NOT as Dragon Developer Extraordinaire!!:outrage:

Im guessing Larian is working night and day to correct this Serious Issue.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Is it possible to play on LAN with a single key with the Gog version? Or do you need 2 keys for that?
Got the answer to my own question : I test 2 players on LAN at home with the Gog version and it works well with a single copy.
