Anyone know if Steam users will be able to coop-play with GOG users?
I don't think there's anything stopping it, aren't the servers hosted by Larian?

So far, the music has been a let-down. It's just weird, it doesn't really fit the game.

I don't like that it changes a lot, it is area based but it's jarring at times. I do like the music its self though, spent sometime just listening to some of the better tracks I haven't heard before.

GOG users can use local/directIP for their MP sessions.

Well, yeah, this is probably why I don't think it fits. Nothing wrong with the music, just how it's played.

Zed You think that fits better than what's in game? The voice overs in this game are reminiscent of Fable, especially since they repeat so much. Visuals are heavily stylized with WoW characters and things like that, dialogue is cheesy/goofy, the music I heard in the tavern seems to fit the overall feel of this game.

Perkel That's the one lol.

Is this game great or what? Seriously, best damn RPG of it's kind in ages. Only complaints so far is it's fairly dialog heavy (especially in the start) and of the fact you only get to create two characters. I wish it were a bit more like ToEE, but whatever, the game is fantastic and once it gets going in it's a blast.

I dunno, it's actually one of the very few rpgs where i like the music a lot instead of muting it and listening to something else in the background.

Anyone knows the steps to craft a skillbook? I really need a Teleport skillbook, but I can't find any on sale.

The battle system in this game is so great. I expected to have a lot of fun with the writing and quests, because I know I like Larian games in that regard, and I also expected the in-depth world interactivity simply because they advertised it a lot. But I honestly didn't expect them to pull off a battle system of this quality. It's both highly strategic and highly situational (which keeps it fresh).

The music is good but it rarely fits what's going on. It's like it was composed completely on its own then spread over the game

Well, maybe; I didn't notice any big discrepancy though.

They should simply add the option to customize the henchmen, and that'd be just like creating your own 4 character party. ForkTong, you know you want to do it. I was frankly frustrated with the choice of henchmen.

Yeah, I assumed as much, though I didn't actually find all 4 items.

Oh lol, I just found another item by accident and got xp
Evelyn's jacket is in one of the closets in healing house, you bring it you update your journal

Not always, there is special music for graveyards, dungeons, an abandoned church, and so on.

Anyone knows if there is an option to repair all/identify all without all the hot sex with barter window and buttons for equipment?
You can't even repair item if character you repair for doesn't have gold in his inventory.

Tried to play it a little bit more today while I don't get more RAM. Anyway, the music is pretty sweet!

Been playing a bunch. My naturally correct opinions thus far:

After spending hours and hours upon this game now that it's released, I'm ready to call it RPG and game of the year. I don't remember when I've last played such a brilliant, lovingly crafted game where everything just simply seems to work. (Okay, crafting could be executed a bit better but is still functional!).

This dual dialogue system is probably one of the best advances in dialogue schemes across all RPGs and really lets you RP through the various characters in your party without becoming a boring checklist of things to say and adds a nice touch of interactivity to the whole process

The enviroments are stunning and all the different ways you can interact with them to create gameplay keeps amazing me time after time. Rarely I've seen RPG systems and gameplay so well tied together. Small things like chatting with a guard on one character while another sneaks into some previously guarded place keep amusing me continuously.

Can't seem to get enough of this game and I've not even touched the bread and butter yet, the well built and easy to use editor for crafting one's own adventures. Dang.

First RPG since NWN with not only solid multiplayer but excellent one, and this time OC is actually worth playing.

Couple things of note that could probably be improved on:

Crafting. It's a bit cumbersome right now. At least make it so that if you press some hotkey the items wouldn't switch place in case they don't mix.
Quest notes. It'd be nice to be able to write my own notes for the quests. The log is sufficient but I'd also like write some things myself to keep in mind. Love the lack of quest compass and focus on finding stuff yourself otherwise.

You can find the air skill vendor (Cyreth) at the Marketplace.

or craft:
- Spell Book = Magical Ink and Quill + Blank Elemental Skill Book
- Blank Elemental Scroll = Blank Sheet of Paper + Any Elemental Essence
- Feather = Pillow + Any Knife
- Quill = Feather + Any Knife
- Ink Pot and Quill = Ink Pot + Quill
- Magic Ink Pot and Quill = Pot and Quill + Pixie Dust

You mean the Cyseal marketplace? I can't seem to find anyone named Cyreth there. Cylia the Enchantress is selling air skillbooks, but she doesn't have Teleport for me.

EDIT: Hah, nevermind. Got a Teleportation book off Thelyron, of all people.

It would be nice to change the AI ingame, the "no AI" option is not doing it for me but I'm not restarting. Maybe there's a way ini-files-like?

Aren't you enjoying conversing with yourself? I think it's awesome.

you can turn off the dual conversation in options (at least I think that changes it?). but it really sucks you can't change the AI.

The "No AI" option and making my two characters argue with each other is easily my favorite feature of the whole game. Finally, a game that lets me craft my own companion, but they're not just a silent automaton, nor am I fishing blindly for approval Bioware style. I'm actually roleplaying both of them but not LARPing. It's awesome and I just know this will probably be the only game to ever implement it. :negative:

Yeah I enjoy role playing with myself.

Roguey being dumb again for not making clear what he is talking about (current day or all-time numbers). I wrote today's numbers, but he clearly meant all-time.
Also, I'm not a future teller, but I bet that DOS will be around 5-10 K every day, while SRR had one 22K peak, and only 1-2K after that/day.
You're being awfully rude for someone who received free stuff from me.

I actually meant on a day-by-day basis. D:OS's peak from today was 13,598. Shadowrun Returns's daily peak from day 3 was 17,146.

EDIT: Roguey Josh said anything about D:Os yet?
He hasn't bought it, which leads me to believe that line about having a credit card canceled and not correcting the info in time was just politeness.

Setting and systems = junk = not very likely.
