DS1 shows you the lands outside Lordran in the horizon looking from Firelink Shrine, and imply (through snippets of lore) that those are inhabited. And even the places inside the game have some resemblance of settlements and homes ( Undead burg, Lower burg, New Londo), with plausible explanations for their desolation.Don't bother. I don't think there's even been a single game made that at least attempted to realistically simulate a medieval city and its surroundings. They just slap a castle in the middle of nowhere and forget everything about the fields, the farmers, the villages. Kingdom Come: Deliverance was the only one I remember even trying to do so.Is this nonsense demographics explained somewhere? I mean, there are lots of castles with noble NPCs around (Irina ans her father, that Kenneth Haite fella) and their troops and convoys, etc. but not enough actual serfs or common folk to be seen. Only in the very start of the game there are what appears to be some groups of serfs digging the ground searching for something, but that's it. Where are their homes? Their villages? Etc.
Lyric Suite FYI, b/c you mentioned something about taking a while how to two hand, something that wasn't immediately obvious to me is that, once you have your mount, you can swing with your left hand with the left shoulder buttons. lol it took me until hour 30 to realize that I didn't have to always swing with the right handSo i rolled over ever vase or box in the tutorial. Imagine saying this isn't Dark Souls 4 lmao.
The fact the UI disappears automatically is kinda neat, btw.
Also, crafting materials? Really? Ewwww. And those plants respawn too when you rest. That's certainly going to help my OCD.

I feel this so much. I have to collect all the things! *twitches uncontrollably*
Also, 35 hours in, I'm still with my starting armour, wtf?
I have many drops, full sets even, but nothing suits me better than the vagabond one. Apart from some situational changes.Because you haven't found any or you haven't found any that you like? I'm still using the initial bandit outfit, but I've had new pieces drop and the initial merchant has the chain armor.
Yeah you can only invade when other coop. Has anyone found a reusable item for invading?Right, has anybody been ever invaded by a human tryhard yet? Like ever? I'm 30h in and still nada. What gives?
Maybe invasions are hard coded for coop instances only? I've summoned a bro like twice.
You can only get invaded during solo play if you activate an item found in the hub area.Yeah you can only invade when other coop. Has anyone found a reusable item for invading?Right, has anybody been ever invaded by a human tryhard yet? Like ever? I'm 30h in and still nada. What gives?
