I'm kinda hoping they release some useless bullshit like an RTX update to placate the retards and call it a day with this game. It's too long already as it is lmao do we really want a DLC? Maybe if it was just a pure legacy dungeon but we all know it's going to include another open area + dungeon at the end.

If there is a DLC this game needs then it would be a story expansion but contained wholly within the existing areas. The game is long and the map is big but its so absurdly empty. There is about 1 or 2 NPCs(merchants and utility NPCs do not count) for each. The game would seriously benefit from just having more quests to flesh out the world and the story because as it stands its somehow less clear than Dark Souls ever was despite having significantly more real estate for it than DS ever had.


Also tripling the poise values on all armor would be welcome. I am sick of wearing medium to heavy armor that provides all the protection of booty shorts.

A lot of people in the ER community didn't liked that the update that introduced the multiplayer arenas was announced as DLC, and so far the only DLC we're getting. Those same individuals want the DLC to be at least twice as long as the base game too.

Fuck, managed to mess up Gostoc appearances AGAIN. Not that it matters but i still don't get the trigger for them. Managed to get one only but he has opened his shop all the same. Wierdest quest but the first time the runes stealing shit was neat at the very least.

Stormveil is a million times easier now than when i got there at at much higher SL than i am now. Did the Scion in one try, the commando birds (the one with the flame attack) don't scare me any more etc. Just died once to the Crucible Knight down the wall secret thingy. This is sucks gitting gud took all the mystery out of this game lmao.

- Blonde girl riding Torrent. Marika? Hints at link between her and Melina?
- She's riding in the field from the ending of Gladiator. Where is this?

I strongly doubt it'd be some time warp shenanigans. It could however be a prequel, everything seems to point at it.

Dark Souls III played with time and space distortion for the sake of its meta FS auto-referencing. It was to be taken along with it going back to Demon's Souls roots on several superficial aspects (starting kits, mana meter, several areas in the game which mirror Demon's Souls' like Firelink Shrine = Nexus, purposefully disconnected from any other level or Lothric = Boletaria, featured at the beginning and the end, dragons breathing fires on its walls etc) like some sort of mise en abyme. Time distortion was a strong theme of DSIII de facto from there.
Game was built like an helicoid, swirling around itself.
If the boys at FS aren't stupid, they won't go for it again.

People were clamoring for Marika-related content. Perhaps it's this. I'm betting on either a story from the past, or a story from the future. That could be the edrtree as it was in the very beginning, or how it ended up being in the far future, because regardless of what happened the tree might regrow etc.

GRRM actually wrote a lot of the lore that happened before the events of the game. Like the whole setup was made by him. We could expect this to fit in the same way than the secondary material for GOT fits into it, maybe?

I don't care what time it's set in or what's the story, just please no more giants, dragons, trolls and other large and unwieldy bosses. I want to see something like Friede and Ariandel. Or something like Malenia, but maybe two of them at the same time.

And I hope Torrent is more involved this time around. That thing carries you through the Stolen Lands, but it's barely involved in gameplay, other than for transport.

Hopefully this DLC comes with a LOT OF base game QOL improvements, otherwise it'll be first FROM DLC I absolutely give no fucks about. Especially since the MP is completely broken, imbalanced and thanks to the seamless Coop mod almost dead, while the SP suffers from horrible recycling and disgusting number bloat, which makes high lvl RA's mandatory.

DS2 is the only game where MP worked nicely because they actually designed a way to make it work like that.
No DLC added QOL features before, just content. So yeah. It's going to add a handful new bosses, superflous lore, and maybe a few more OP weapons. Just like the ones that came before.
DS2, once again, had the best dlcs.

A negative highlight for me. It was a terrible fight.

I haven't touched ER since I poopsocked it on release. Hopefully they'll tone down the open world bullshit and focus on some level design.

Fire Giant IS a highlight, but it doesn't mean it's a good boss fight. Bloated HP, too big for the camera they use, gimmicky design, huge sweeping attack that will one shot you unless you have 50 vigor or whatever. The entire mountain zone should be rebalanced.

Also, if a boss is a highlight, that means it shouldn't be repeated. Astel was so cool, then seeing him in a random dungeon later again made him look so cheap and lame. I really hope they learn a lesson from it.

Probably it will be as it was speculated: that child/thing/character is clearly Miquella (a man apparently) and the realm is the dream realm or whatever it's called. Cut content found in files, cut items, cut quest and dialogue relating to sleep, dreams and a sleep dew potion the player can make.
Anyway, what's incredible to me is that after all these years From still makes DLCs about some of the most retarded, insignificant, less cool aspects of the lore. Like who the fuck cares about Miquella and his dreams?
Motherfucker I want a DLC where we get to fight, kill and absorb the powers of the Rot God, Greater Will, Formless Mother, Blood Star, Dark Moon, Frenzy Fire God (the madness and Fire Giant god), Dragon God and all the other Outer Gods, travel to an alien city where you get to learn more about primeval current, glintstone, fight entities like Falling star beast, Astel, maybe add swimming and an underwater city with sea bosses. Just some ideas.
But nah, Miquella.
