Level 138 can invade from 125 to 150 and also match with those rune levels in the arena. Maximum activity in PVP. I'll probably mostly use him for arena TBH. I prefer mid level invasions.

No idea wtf i was doing here, just pulled through because of how much damage bloody slash did, which is a bit ludicrous considering i'm still at +8:



So far this SL1 run has been way easier than my first one. Granted i'm allowing myself to use a bit more cheese than i did the first time but i'm amazed that i don't feel particularly harmstringed at all by not leveling. Eventually i'll probably start to feel the low vigor but for now i'm still able to survive hits so.

I think NJClaw said something similar about his SL1 run, though I think it started wearing off towards the end. But it was ridiculously late (or I'm misremembering).

Damage-wise, haven't felt a thing the whole game. Against Malenia, I was dealing more damage in the SL1 run than in my last one, and I could still tank minor hits. Not even the Elden Beast was one-shotting me.

I totally lied i just cleared Fort Faroth lmao. But i mean, it was right there after jumping with the spirit spring so i guess it was intended.

I see they didn't change how the mama dragon works just poked her in the ass until she died as i did last time. I actually felt bad for the poor thing just couldn't defend herself.

I got a taste of what the end game is like now since the mobs in Fort Faroth are super beefed up but it didn't feel much different than when i got there with my main toon lmao. I assume the ghost knights on top of the roof could one shot me but i didn't feel like losing a rune arc just to try it.

BTW, that night mist spell is indeed amazing. Just cleared all the bats in Fort Faroth by fumigating the place and stand outside flipping a coin while i waited them to die. It's actually on a level with rotten breath on how much it feels broken. I wish i had tried it on the mama dragon first didn't think of it.

Add Starscourge Heirloom, Omensmirk Mask, and the Strength-knot Crystal Tear and you can basically reach the soft cap while two-handing.

Dexterity has no two-handing bonus, but you can still get to 43 with Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom, Millicent's Prosthesis, Okina Mask, and the Dexterity-knot Crystal Tear.

Wonder if i would be better off with quality as opposed to pure strengh. While the two-handed bonus makes it an obvious choice, would trying to get to the 80 soft cap be better than sticking to the 55 soft cap and make use of the 20 dex bonus instead?

Anyway, first time i tried this guy i thought he felt too weak and out of place in Dragonbarrow. Now that i just killed his little brother down the spring lift near the cemetery and i can make a direct comparison, i see that he was in fact scaled up, and even got some different attacks:

With crossbow you deal the same damage, with other weapons the higher SL the higher damage. Also you become more sturdy and get better armor. As naked you can get a decent damage reduction because talismans are powerful.

Love towards the end i try to go two-handed but instead the controller doesn't switch and end up casting jelly shield buff twice. Don't you love when that shit happens?

I can cheese it with Rejection and throwing them off the cliff but for now i'll save it for later, see if with some weapon upgrades and stuff it becomes doable. If not i'll cheat fuck it.

Well, i did it, no hit on the Bell Bearing Hunter, except the only reason i pulled it off is that he one shot me like seven times in a row so it's not like i had a choice lol:



I actually love to roll-fu this guy, one of my favored bosses but next time i'll try parrying or something, assuming it works.

Burning out rune arcs like candies i tried the rats and it's not actually that terrible, but before i farm them i might as well wait for that arcane boost helm in the Eternal City, no point doing it now, still got plenty left.
