The bell bearings permit exactly this: each one allows infinite purchases of one or two levels of smithing stones or somber stones; you would simply reduce the cost. The problem, as we've discussed previously, is that the bell bearings were placed rather late, which results in the player becoming locked into one or two normal weapons to which he has devoted the higher level smithing stones for upgrades. This issue is less acute for the unique weapons upgrading via somber stones but still exists. This could easily have been resolved by placing the first bell bearing in Stormveil Castle, rather than at the far end of Liurnia, and similarly advancing the placement of the other three smithing-stone bell bearings. Alternatively, if the number of stones required for each upgrade had been halved, this would at least have permitted much greater weapon variety without requiring either farming stones or acquiring the bell bearings.what if somber stones/smithing stones were infinite use items that allowed you to upgrade any item you have to that level. so you still have to pay souls, but once you've found a stone of a particular level, you've basically unlocked that level for any item you own. would this actually imbalance the game, or would it instead inspire creativity and variation in builds

Make it Bloodborne 2.What would you like they change/improve for Elden ring 2 ?
Fixed it for you.Make it Sekiro 2.
99% of the game will always be accessible. If you don't care about spoilers, there's a single area that you should clear in its entirety before moving on:Decided to clear our the Dragonbarrows before going into Leyndell, difficulty spike is noticeable but not too frustrating. Also, is there a point where I get sucked into the endgame, that I should avoid until I'm done exploring everything? I still have the Lake of Rot, Roots of the Erdree, Mountaintops of Giants (not sure how to get there right now...), and Mausoleum of Mog to explore.
If you haven't beaten the boss in Leyndell yet you can try going as far as you can, you'll know when to turn back. Can I get to the area east of Leyndell before clearing it?
Either both of these orSo either i give up and upgrade my weapon, learn to do that next level shit where you just run around her hit box during the first volley,
Don't give up. I'm not a good player at all but I can sometimes dodge waterfowl completely and I'm confident I could do it consistently if I practiced. Light roll helps a lot, its been majorly buffed since you did your original playthrough.Alright, so after taking a break for the last couple of days due to real life shit getting in the way, i tried her again this morning and i'm still getting my ass kicked.
Barring stupid mistakes, i think i got her down fairly well but that Waterfowl shit is starting to grate on my nerves. Depending on the whims of the AI, i actually cannot outpace her healing. I don't do enough damage to keep up with her if she does it too many times (even if i string perfect parries one after the other). I almost had her down on the first phase and she did it three times in a row and was back at over half her health.
So either i give up and upgrade my weapon, learn to do that next level shit where you just run around her hit box during the first volley, or just keep trying and pray for the RNG gods to be merciful. This afternoon i gotta go out again so i'll try again later after dinner.
Seems like i'll have to spend a week on this bitch after all. I considered uploading the first phase at least to show you where i'm at but there's no point. If i gotta do it i gotta do it to the end.

Bloodhound knights are reskinned Vordts, probably. Which, in turn, were modified werewolves from Bloodporn. So, how many bosses/enemies are reskinned bosses from previous games? I've noticed that "Erdtree Avatar" is just an Asylum Demon with its head blown off, one of the grafted monsters is a reskinned Ludwig, and the other grafted "scion" is a reskinned giant crab, of all things.

Isn't that the fat "godskin noble", and Ornstein the tall thin "godskin apostle"?Smough
Oh, I had completely missed this one, though it seems obvious in hindsight. Interesting! Those imps in the catacombs, though I liked them better as thralls in DS3
Yeah, but if it's the same enemy, it doesn't count.Slimes, dogs, rats.. tons of minor enemies.
It's the same reason why infinite respecting would also be bad.
You just locked yourself out from one of Elden Ring's six endings.Important update: I have located the Dung-Eater in the sewer jail and killed him on the spot.![]()
What kind of an ending would that turd give me?![]()
