Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Point lookout without rednecks shooting pellets that bypass DR, at least. Now with a mutated mixture between dagon and deep sea anglerfishes, also chaurus copypastas.

Will you work toward bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost?
None. I bet one will not face any drastic consequence regardless of your choices.

Cult of Atom is boring. I don't get how I could write a more compelling story with better factions and locations in about a day with a Fallout New Orleans concept then Bethesderp can in six or so years. I had my fun with FO4 gameplay wise and I doubt FAAAAAAAH HAAAAAAAAAAHBAAAAH is going to be worth any money.

Because they're cliche with an extremely dull backstory? 'We worship radiation!' And? Like I said, I could come up with better factions at the drop of a hat. Fallout New Orleans: One major faction would be the 'Governor's' forces. A rebirth of 1930's era Huey Long style facism where the soldiers dress in authoritarian state police uniforms. Society is generally prosperous and stable but comes at a curtail of liberties. You throw in some radio speeches, plenty of 'You Are My Sunshine," and corrupt officials and you have some interesting material.

Cult of Atom is so fucking generic to the extent they could cut and paste them anywhere in the wastelands. All of Fallout 4 is simply a rehashing of Fallout 3. It's pitiful that's the best they can come up with when they worked on this title for so long.

I see it as some kind of continuation, and remember (even looking at Fallout Bible give many examples) that whole Fallout universe is just fuking crazy playground for insane ideas.
You have great idea of nice faction, so ? For real, create it and place into game, but please remeber include it into Nexus for others :) .
It's great feature of all crpg Bethesda games under Elder Scrolls , New Fallout franchise, You can spend some time in the editor and add anything You want in the way You want, and above all share it with others.
You really don't think that any Dev in the fuckin world will do good every single player by answering to their "i want that, becouse what we have now suck" ask ?
Get a grow up. I already created some 2 crazy factions for myself only in F4 and have loads of fun with them. One is lead by post nazi scientists , one by run away gays and lesbians. Trust me , eradicating them and creating quests is fascinating and relaxing fun. Do the same :)

This is Bethesda's problem. The 'modders will fix it mentality.' They're so successful they can simply pump out generic/skeletal games and let people do their work for them for free.

That's why the Elvis faction from New Vegas was a nice addition to the lore. I guess they feel like creating something in the line of the Children of Atom would serve as a way to provide commentary on evangelistical christians, but it's dull and stupid. If it was just dull or just stupid I'd okay it, plenty of Fallout lore is one of those, but both of them at the same time is too much for me.
I also love how the people who started the Elvis cult did it because they came across documents about Elvis and they thought it was a cult or something like that.

I see it as some kind of continuation,

Kind of the problem. There's only so many times you can move to a different part of the United States yet hear "Oh, this got mixed with this and now we have Super Mutants." The circumstances and materials that created them were supposed to be unique. By Fallout 2 time and conflict (and distance) meant that they were becoming an even rarer sight than the myth they were in 1. Fallout 3 comes out and now there's an entirely different breed of them. This top secret substance was just handed off to Vault Tec to do their stupid side show experiments on in a Vault. Fallout 4? *Bam*, Institute created their own failed strain stated to be totally unconnected to the other two. When the next game is released I'm sure another type will be written in as well.

Oh look, the Brotherhood of Steel is mounting an expedition into this region/there's an exile group here/nope, not the Brotherhood I think this is the Enclave. They reformed again.

For fuck's sake.

All the Fallout games follow the same plot structure, the difference being Fallout 1 and 2 have a goal that revolves around saving your community (water chip, get the geck) and Fallout 3 and 4 instead have personal goals that are centered around family.

The whole point is to deliver on the "War never changes" central theme, it shows that no matter how selfless and noble our goals may be it will always end in conflict and death. (possible critique of rpgs?) I prefer the more personal goals since they really drive the point, think about the lengths your character goes to in order to achieve a goal that only exists for their own happiness. The theme is also highlighted by the game giving you what you killed so many people for, what you spent hours looking for and then take it away from you shortly after leaving only the after-effects of the destruction you've caused.

As for New Vegas and Tactics, I'm guessing that side games don't have to follow the plot structure and can change it up seeking to only develop the world further for other games in the series.

The Kings were more than that. If you look past their "LOL Elvis impersonators" aspect, they were a surprisingly effective portrayal of a typical local militia in a country recently "liberated" by a foreign power - sort of like the Shi'ite militias in Baghdad in the mid-2000s. Nominally allied against a greater evil, sometimes collaborating, sometimes hostile, with hotheads like Pacer always screwing things up.

And what's wrong with institute? Whole Fallout universe is fucked strong .

Did you just side-step my whole point? I only mentioned the Institute because they were used as an excuse to have Super Mutants yet again. Hell, as poorly as I thought they were handled I'm glad the Institute were there. At least they weren't a retread.

Aye, but they don't have to shoehorn in the same factions everywhere you go. Look at how returning factions were handled between Fallout 1 and 2. The Brotherhood of Steel are represented by a couple of resource caches with a single guard apiece. Mostly there to get you stocked up for the endgame once you acquire the Vertibird plans. That's it. They're blatantly stated to have declined.

"The Brotherhood of Steel is not the power that we once were. We believed ourselves to be the sole source of technology left to mankind. Secure in this belief we have let our order decline over the years."

Super Mutants scattered or were killed after the Master's death, so there's only a couple handfuls in 2. Mostly all concentrated around Broken Hills in the form of Unity Patrols or in the town. There is the odd group of Master loyalists. But this is still the same geographical area as Fallout 1. The Brotherhood was a local power, with the faction's origin point nearby. Ditto for the Super Mutants with the secret facilities that studied them.

First thing said in the trailer is "Please, bring my daughter home." Bethesda just can't stop with the search for family members.

Point Lookout had you searching for a missing daughter as well. Your character was lobotomized in the process, so in that DLC you play as yourself playing a Bethesda game.

apparently the lizards are called Gulpers, my guess is they're fat salamanders, and the Mirelurk reskinned enemy is an Angler. These names are just something else, eh?

Now that we live in the golden age of Creation Kit modding and the new hardcore survival mode, let's see what the most popular mod on the Nexus is:

SURVIVAL QUICK SAVE - No Sleep Till Bedtime by Gopher

A simple mod that adds an item to the AID section of your pipboy called QUICK SAVE. You can hotkey this item and when you use it, it will save your game even in Survival difficulty. That is it.

Number two and three are a premade player home and a "bigger tits" mod.
