Skinwalker

Is it still shit?
There was a demo, but it looked like shit. No idea if they changed anything from that version. Was there even any gameplay footage? I only remember crappy rendered trailer about some idiot with a death wish in Old Camp and it looked more like a trailer for Fable games to be honest.
Possible. Low detail assets as placeholders to get a playable game (rather than bottleneck or rely on store/reused assets) that will be replaced by better ones isn't an implausible development strategy. Odd to see it make it to such a late trailer though. Is it just me or does it look like there is a HUGE gap between the quality of certain assets in this trailer?
The only good questline in Enderal was the one about the Rhalata. The main quest was some gay-ass nihilistic crap that raised more questions than it answered. It went nowhere and accomplished absolutely nothing. Shit, even the main story in ME2 was more meaningful. That looks fucking excellent.
Honestly still cannot quite believe it is being made. I mean, Gothic was never some AAA mega success like FF7 that would warrant modern well budgeted remake. And yet this seems to be exactly that, in a good way. If the new quests are as good as questlines in Enderal (same writer) and the game does not shit the bed in recreating the original content, it will likely be better than original.
I disagree. Even if you don't like the ending of the main quest, which I can understand eventhough I didn't mind it, there were plenty of good characters, dialogues and quests in it. But even aside from the main quest, the questline with Esme was also very enjoyable as were most sidequests. The only good questline in Enderal was the one about the Rhalata. The main quest was some gay-ass nihilistic crap that raised more questions than it answered. It went nowhere and accomplished absolutely nothing. Shit, even the main story in ME2 was more meaningful.
This bears no resemblance to the awful preview from before. Did they realize what a huge turd it was and replaced it with something that is true to the original? Does that even happen anymore?
Well, you'd think that the stellar Dead Space remake would warrant the remake of the rest of that trilogy, but apparently it wasn't commercially successful enough, so tough luck, no more remakes.im gonna laugh if this is lot better then gothic then they get the greenlight to remake all of piranha bytes games.
