Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Those glassy undead eyes :)

Beta is live, apparently, though I can't download the game because of an error. Don't do this to me please.
EDIT: Looks like it's fixed. Also, 16GB RAM minimum for the beta? Holy cow that's steep.

Seems system requirements have gone bananas overall nowadays, and the games haven't really improved in way that would indicate the hefty increasement.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
All faces and voices are still placeholder. Vavra said they may scan the actual actors as the last feature they do.

Not sure if all this placeholder stuff isn't putting retards off for good. It's common knowledge no matter how many times you say something is alpha/beta hordes of dumbfucks will complain nevertheless. Unfortunately first impressions are hard to erase.

Why do I feel like this will be another one of those cheap games?

it can be shit but i doubt it will be cheap. They are running so far what looks like one of the best GFX on pc.
Frankly speaking i am shocked what they were able to achieve as their first game in therms of GFX.

They even have full global illumination (which completely tanks framerate) which was one of the "wow" points behind early UE4 demos before they scrapped it.

What i don't understand is how they will be able to convert this game on consoles.

Yeah their ambitions are sky-high but so far the game seems to be balanced for computers from 2055. Their persistent world AI system is also pretty fucking incredible but it'd be tough to run it without i7 or better. Trying to cram all of this into Xbone will be like watching a SJW hamplanet trying to fit into a Vietnamese riksha.

I bought a brand new rig last summer and I'm averaging 25-30 FPS on High.

The graphics are incredible, especially the environmental stuff like the grass/trees/ground/etc. That said, the AI looks kind of retarded.

Something I noticed from the last video, dunno if it's been discussed/known/noticed already:

I'm looking forward to the game after all I tried to play the alpha but it feels like the end product won't be like what I anticipated.

So for how much they went over the kickstarter budget and where from they have additional funds?

About the time of the kickstarter they stated that the funding campaign was just to prove the investor, that there is enough interest in the game. Or something like that, might be mistaken, ''twas long time ago.

IIRC they said, that Kickstarter was a way to show private investors that there is demand for such a game.
