So this game is based on D&D it seems.

I think BG translated a D&D combat round to 6 seconds. Does this game do something similar? Is it six seconds or something else?

Or is everyone playing it in TB mode?

Pathfinder is similar to 3.5e but different.

You got all 3 keys? You can face Nyrissa now - go to the top floor and open the door in the south corner which lead you to the room in the middle.

There are other side quests (books and mirrors) but I'd say forget those. I managed to finish the book one which involves collecting 6 books hidden in both real and illusion version of the world but I never got around finishing the mirror one which involves touching the mirrors in correct order in both dimensions of the world.

Where??? I will upload some screnshots; All text instructions are too confuse.I don't ever know where is the top floor. And the room in middle of the floor that i think that is won't oppen despite i having traded with witch, killed the Wriggling man and passed the fog loading screen simulator to get the third key. Are hte mirror and the book puzzle non optional? Please say that they are. I will ragequit the game if i need to do an annoying puzzle at this point... I an missing something? Without map and details gamebanshee style i can't foretel, only walk in the same boring places trying to foretell what to do...

Anyway, some screenshots.

I can't find the witch key in my inventory but she disappeared, i killed the Wriggling man and she said that will give me an key. I an missing something? Here is screenshots and where this locked door. Any map? https://imgur.com/a/OCs5z5n

If you don't wanna click on the link

Please. Any walktrought with MAPS not just vague text? I an missing something?

Is that hard to get an map showing exactly where to go???????? Only vague text isn't enouth.

Ok, so you need one more key from the Witch. Nyrissa is in the middle section of the last map you posted.

EDIT: I got confused with the map, edited the post - see my post with screenshot for more info.

And yes, the book and mirror puzzles are optional - that's why I said don't worry about those.

I will take some screenshot and post them soon if you are still struggling.

Ok, so you need one more key from the Witch. She is in the middle section of the last map you posted - I can't remember which dimension (real or illlusional) though.

She was in the first room. But disappeared. Will load an old save and pass this BS on the minimum difficulty. Nobody deserves this awful dungeon. Not only is an walking/foretelling/loading screen simulator, but also is bugged and key elements to complet magically disappear... I just wanna the end of this piece of trash dungeon soon as possible!!!

======------------

My plan failed. I literally attacked the witch and... She teleported. How i get his daan key????????

S0rcererV1ct0r - see below screenshots.

BTW Knurly witch always teleports. She is in the locked room on the opposite side (see the screenshot below, her location after she teleports is marked)

1st level is where you find most of your companions.

As I said, I'm not sure what dimension you find Knurly witch.

I actually didn't mind Lantern King's curse - you get your power back pretty quickly.

However, once you leave the temporary hub to face the LK, that's when Wild Hunt spam happens again and the game gets super tedious again. LK fight is fun though.

completed the game. Only one question. To get the Endless dungeon DLC's achievements, there are any difficulty requirement? Like have to play in the Last Azlanti mode?

edit : Lantern King was an piece of cake compared to Spawn of Rovagug

Hmm I found Spawn of Ravgog easier... maybe it depends on the party class composition?

I finished DLC3 on normal as stand alone mode and still unlocked a whole bunch of achievements.

Main character - Sorcerer of undead bloodline
With custom mercs - one kineticist and one druid.

I got forced to use an barb merc fully buffed with everything that i got... My lv 20 char with spell penetration and greater spell penetration only hit an minority of spells on him, while the first icy prison that i cast on lantern king, landed and he had much less elemental resistance too, less AOE attacks, can't "dominate" party members...

So, do people expect Owlcat's next project will be announced at Gamescom? A Kickstarter update mentioned they were working on one (people who couldn't get physical rewards due to international shipping will get it free).

I bought this quite a while ago but shelved it until it was patched until it'd be as good as it gets.

I'm in chapter two, about thirty hours in, and it's a strong game. Not perfect, but definitely ambitious and really pushes the envelope for what you can do in an isometric RPG. I prefer the map travel of Baldur's Gate instead of this, which reminds me of Tranny a bit.

I'm dreading progressing further in this game as it sounds like quite a clusterfuck in later chapters.

+1 to whoever suggested being able to romance Linzi. Spinner!

Paladins are not particularly strong in Pathfinder, unless you are specifically fighting Outsiders all the time. Magus has some very strong aspects but ultimately isn't as strong as a properly-built Wizard. Eldritch Archer is a pretty strong archetype, but again, weak casting.

Ecclesitheurge... is still not as good as a Wizard.

Who gives a flying fuck if a class is 'coherently themed'. What a fucking dumb thing to talk about.

I give a flying fuck about it, but Porky is doing it wrong. Pals are very straightforwardly themed and as implemented in this game as far from “munchkin” as one can get.

He has no idea what he’s talking about.

I think he’s talking about hardcore min/maxing which I agree is pretty retarded when there is still blatantly broken shit like crane wing and vivi splash running around.

What a incredible GEM of a crpg this game is with all dlcs now. I mean, i love Pillars, Tyranny and others too but this, THIS one bring me fond memories of Baldur's Gate. That writing , and you can have interesting conversations with almost every npc, and the world so close to beloved fantasy classic of Forgotten Realms / Middle Earth classics with it's own flavour . Gameplay is great, so many helpers and THAT MECHANICS like vast ocean of possibilites. Lore is deep, story is great and gameplay is rock solid. For me it is crpg of 2019 [i wish that Tyranny 2 happens and PoE 3 will show its best soon] .

As always, you are missing the point. A munchkin is someone who plays to win vs playing to role play or get in character. Most of the classes you mentioned are pretty munchkin-y. They all combine completely different, thematically incoherent things. For example, a pally combines warrior aspects with spells.
First, that's something players do, it has nothing to do with classes, by that definition, at which point the idea of a "munchkin class" doesn't make any sense whatsoever, as that would refer to classes that favor this playstyle, i.e. classes that are more powerful than others, i.e. vivisectionsts, pure cleric, kineticist, etc. A munchkin wouldn't be playing fucking paladins, because he's playing to "win", and "thematic coherence" has nothing to do with it, you absolute fucking tardbeast. That said, there is nothing "thematically incoherent" with a spellblade type character or a classic paladin - they are extremely well-established themes.
And don't try to move goalposts by saying "religious kngiht".
That is, fundamentally, thematically, what Paladins are. You're the one trying to move the goalpost by reinterpreting terms like "munchkin" even when it makes no sense.
Or an eldritch archer, who combines archery with spells, again completely incoherent.
At this point, I'm thoroughly convinced that you don't understand what "thematic" as well as "coherence" even means, just like you obviously don't even understand the term "munchkin".
When you told me these are the classes you play, well of course your munchkin arse wouldn't have any problems with the other things Stankmaker demands of you. Why not cast all the available spells, drink all the available potions, your characters are already a silly mismatch of patchwork bullshit. But I prefer pure characters.
Boo-hoo, not everyone enjoys playing the same fucking commoner as you do, and prefers playing to a theme, and therefore it is the game's fault that you fucking suck, somehow. Boo-fucking-hoo.

A munchkin breaks the rules to create characters that are more powerful that they could normally be according to the rules. Someone mod the game to give paladins full cha-based sorceror arcane casting? THAT is munchkin.

Calling someone a munchkin when that person has not broken the rules is classic dramafaggotry.

The idea that playing a powerful character is mutually exclusive with role-playing is fucking absurd.
Alright, after spending a whole post shitting on PorkyTheMunchkin, I must actually defend part of it here. He didn't say "playing a powerful character", he did actually say "play to win". While it's possible to both have a well-optimized character and good roleplaying, it has more to do with playstyle and attitude, as with "rollplayers vs. roleplayers". I have an enduring hate for optimizationfaggotry, because there's this tendency towards disregarding the narrative stucture of the game (which I consider part of the mechanical rules and actually more important than the mechanical rules), which in turn lends itself to RAWtism. But either way, it has fuckall to do with "thematic incoherence" in any way whatsoever.
Who gives a flying fuck if a class is 'coherently themed'. What a fucking dumb thing to talk about.
I do, but it has more to do with the actual themes of a class and how it relates to the mechanics as a matter of systemics, such as an alchemist not having, say, shotgun proficiency "just because", and it has absolutely nothing to do with whatever retarded standards are going on here. All of the classes are pretty coherently themed, and mostly adhere to very classic tropes, and whoever gives a shit about it when it comes to munchkinism, anyway? It's a fucking non-argument.

I'm not sure I agree that a 'munchkin' has to break the rules (unless you mean "break" in a colloquial sense, such as "breaking" a game). It's usually taken to mean someone that powergames and plays to win, regardless of roleplaying circumstance, in my experience. Always taking the "best" class, RAWtism in interpreting some feats, but leniency when interpreting others, based on whichever results in the highest reward, etc.

That's not the definition of munchkin at all.

What's wrong with Crane Wing?

If works with shield/two-hander, also too easy to get with monk splash. Basically should just count as a shield bonus which makes sense thematically and would fix 80% of the problem.

In the case of P:K that would be taking advantage of rules inexplicably (the explanation is that no one in Owlcat QA actually plays the game outside of story mode, as was made clear by the difficulty slider illiteracy) still broken a year after release. But yeah, point taken.

Crane Wing works with Shield/2H? That's a bug, if it's true.
