I just don't feel like Excel and cough syrup make a good combination.

Alot of shit is happening. If you want a game with less shit happening then maybe not the game for you.

That's like six times the amount of shit happening that Mondblut is complaining about. I did some twelve mans in LotR and that was more than enough for me. Had enough trouble keeping up with 3v3s in Guild Wars.

Linzi suuuuuuucks.

You're bad at this game. On the bright side you have alot of improvement to look forward to.

I mean it's not great that one class is so important, but it is what it is.

LOL I know what a bard can bring and i know what you can do with Linzi's stat block. But then you have to have her in your party, forgive her for stealing your gold, and then find someone to replace her for the most difficult/tedious 10% of the game. Val bard is a 100% better option.

And fuck you I'm competent at this game.

Well, Bard is good for her versatility.
She's not gonna hit anyone in melee obviously but her song is a big help + the utility spells she has.
You just gotta pay attention to what kind of Save vs the enemy is weaker at and tailor the debuff you use.

This is the primary reason why sorcerer felt easier than wizards in this game. You can adapt on the fly.

But if you mean personality-wise. Yes, I kinda wish to replace a few with mercs.

Think of the smarts required to build his own time machine tho.

Once you figure out the travel mechanics you'll feel pretty dumb. We all went through it. Learning is fun.

Stop carrying around so much worthless shit. As I said, at this point you're an idiot. Even I was never that dumb.
What does that have to do with anything? You're moving the goalposts like a typical mongoloid fanboy.
In case you're curious, when I play I travel around with medium/high carry load. But this is entirely irrelevant to what I said.
Josh Sawyer made the Pillars of Eternity stash for people like you. Go play that and quit being a retard.

What about those flashes, clouds and vapors of all colors of rainbow that render everything invisible even without the barrage of floating text?

I know the game is known to be bugged (again?) but maybe someone knows of a solution. My hotkeys for quick save and load dont work. I tried to rebind them but it still wont work and I dont use any mods so that shouldnt be the reason. Has anyone an Idea or the same problem?

you wouldnt mind the effects that much without hp bars or just enable immersive mode. you can also always not spam cloud or prismatic spells.
first chapter has fog surrounding the map to limit play area and maybe the house too and thats it.

when I play I travel around with medium/high carry load.

Then stop. There is no good reason to do so and it will significantly impede not only your enjoyment but your performance.
It doesn't hinder anything mechanically relevant. It just adds additional tedium to the worst aspect of all cRPGs, the map travel.
Lugging around 50 cases of Kobold dung will significantly increase the travel time in a game where events are propelled forward by a time limit. Kingmaker constantly pushes this sense of urgency and is ready to make good on its threat with quest failures or worse. Additionally, a finite storage encourages the judicious use of camping supplies, as making multiple round trips would be a colossal waste of time. Camping supplies to adventurers are what oxygen cannisters are to mountaineers.

In short: choose your loot wisely.

Besides, most of the loot you'll find is fucking worthless. I fucking hate Skyrim and its ilk for conditioning so many people to become fucking magpies.

And even in Pillars of Eternity there is a mode (either PotD difficulty or Expert Mode) when the party stash is available only in villages. Mr. Sawyer understood the importance of carry weight management, but he knew his audience, too.

PoE is shit. This game is closer to being good at least. Not quite there, lots of little annoyances particularly in the UI department.

Is the time limit supposed to stress anyone? 180 days doesn't exactly impart the sense of urgency on me. Should be way shorter.

Those are rare. Was fighting in a first world area where you find some. Glitterdust also has a cloud like that I think.
