Pink Eye
Monk
Looks like you know what you're doing. In regards to early spells, I suggest trying out color spray. It can carry you through chapter 1.

I tried looking at mods but didn't find any portraits for a chad dwarf monk unfortunately. The portrait selection fucking sucks. Only 1 dwarf portrait and 0 monk ones.
There is an easy to find mod that has outstanding portraits for any combination.

I didn't remember the Giant Centepede in Old Sycamore being that difficult. You get lots of indications something bad is near, so I was able to scout it. I used that spell recall feature to re-memorize the Level 2 Delay Poison. Centepedes may be immune to prone (Grease), but they are not immune to Web. Wands and scrolls also really help out in tough fights, especially early on. Kingmaker is generous with them.
Lot of people use 2H fighter (Wish I had). Only need a few levels though. Her and Val are the two best NPCs.Is it feasible to convert the Undead Elf into a tank?
If so, what multiclass should I go for?

Web doesn't do much. Blind is your all purpose condition.
For which difficulty? Is it feasible to convert the Undead Elf into a tank?

Blindness is a great condition, but you must know your enemies. Great against Fey since it targets Fortitude, not great against large brutish monsters which abound in Kingmaker. Web targets reflex, which is typically effective against that type. Web also functions as difficult terrain. Since all characters should have a ranged weapon, plopping a web between you and a distant enemy can give you lots of time to whittle large opponents down, congregate a mass for AoE, or funnel of a horde so you can aggro them to your desired tank. Having that tank march around the periphery of the spell, while the rest of your troupe assails the enemies with arrows and spells will allow a team to overcome odds they wouldn't normally.
Web locks opponents in place so you can murder their friends in peace and then shoot them from afar. It might be useless against ranged opponents, but it takes melee ones out of the fight. It has its uses. Not every centipede is a spitter.I didn't remember the Giant Centepede in Old Sycamore being that difficult. Yeah, that shouldn't happen.I had my barbarian prone next to a stunned enemy bandit in threaten range. I got up, but he immediately killed the barbarian with an attack of opportunity. Is stun not supposed to prevent him from doing that?
Maybe the owlbear already used up all of its attacks of opportunity, or maybe the Stag Lord has some feat or class features that allows him to avoid attacks of opportunity when shooting in melee. Otherwise, that's a bug.Another thing: the Owlbear was in threaten range of the Stag Lord, who was using his gay bow. He fired 3 shots, which triggered 0 attacks of opportunity. Are ranged attacks not supposed to always trigger them?
Basically, in this case, two characters being engaged in melee combat. In-game it's represented by the dotted lines when you hover over enemies.TheSentinel How do you decide what is in "threaten range" and what is not?
I guess he was attacking the enemy in melee from a certain position, so he expects to be able to also execute attacks of opportunity against him from that same spot.TheSentinel How do you decide what is in "threaten range" and what is not?
Yeah. It's completely fine to turn her into a tank. Lots of ways to go about it, but the most straight forward way is base fighter. Base fighter gets access to advanced fighter feats, weapon training, and armor training. Give her the best heavy armor set you have, and she'll make for a decent tank. If you want her to have more HP. Throw an item that gives bonus CHA on her. Since for undead CHA = HP.Is it feasible to convert the Undead Elf into a tank?
