I was playing the game solo this entire time, and now I've gone into a part of the main quest where I have to send one of my guys from my current party to some other place to continue, but I don't have anyone... and I can't roll back to a prev save cause the place I'm in doesn't allow you to exit and I don't have any saves from before I entered this place...

This game badly needs CK2 "throw in oubliette" option in many, many dialogues

btw I encountered the technic league and told them to fuck off then murdered them all and they didn't take anyone and the dialogue was like 'let's follow them, they clearly can't be up to any good' or something but the quest log still said I had to go get my party member back. oversights like this are just unacceptable... uninstalled.

Pathfinder doesn't even try to obscure that it's "modern times but in a fantasy past." D&D's followed suit as well.

It's funny cuz it's true! I don't even know why I stopped playing it. I just did. This happens with Obsidian and me...too often.

I wanted to replay it at some point so decided to make a quick run I ques. I literally forced myself trough to the end ( burned out quick)....and I got season pass and shit.

I started over. I am playing on the same difficulty level, but changed my main from a fighter to a monk. I went and saved the two people from camp before going to the oak tree place with the mites and goblins. So, I have the same exact party plus the thief/wizard lady and different main class.

For some reason I am now able to destroy everything. I beat the tree-ant mound thing with no issue. No issue on the worg wolf thing in the NE of the map, no issue from the boss fights. The only think that still rapes me is the head in the camp.

I have the same pirated version I've had since the first playthrough, so patches aren't the culprit. Same difficulty options so unless they are bugged it ain't that. I did get a lot better at charging and the IA and setup, etc, but that isn't it either, but that shouldn't account for having certain fights that were impossible for me last playthrough (like the treant mound thing) turning into full on rollstomp. I could barely cause it damage last playthrough while it two or three shot my tank lady. This time was a first time kill and she only took one hit (still took her down to half). Last time I had to put huge effort into the worg and use a bunch of tricks and some cheese, this time I won in a straight up fight and was a first time win.

I am wondering - and this may be why so many people are crying about difficulty - if difficulty settings don't update after setting them at a new game. My last game I started at unfair and turned certain things down. This time I started at challenging and turned certain things up (like the enemy have better stats option). I checked and both are set exactly the same for both playthroughs (showing custom difficulty)

Was this addressed in the patches? Or are people still having issues with the challenge even after the patches? It has to be a bug since the difficulty differences are like night and day - its too stark of a difference to be written off by any other factor like increased skill.

The funny thing is the forum mod they had that complained about Grimoire being so difficult it was hostile to the player (who is probably the same retarded banning everyone and causing tons of bad reviews and pirates), is the only one to criticize Grimoire for being too difficult. Now tons of people are saying Pathfinder is too difficult and hostile to the player. The irony is extremely humorous.

This would be quite an undertaking, especially if I go looking for the author of each one, because I have very few uploaded. Most are on my hard drive. But I've always been putting off categorizing them, maybe it's time to start.

You have some great stuff in that gallery btw!

Here is the stuff I collected for barbairans. Not all of it is suitable for portraits, according to my standards at least - I insist on detailed enough faces, which should preferrably give out something unique in terms of character, and should at least be looking at the camera. But they are all pretty high res, so you can crop yourself some nice portraits.

I think you could put them all, even unsorted, in a zip file and upload on some dropbox. Although I can understand if you want to categorize them first. Sometimes I like to do similar things, too.

Personally I play RPGs mostly with female wizard characters. Although Kingmaker will be an exception because I can't stand a women holding an absurdly huge shield, so I will make a fighter with an ordinary shield to replace her. And for the record, I don't care about SJWs but I do care about logic, plausibility and coherency. Women just aren't that strong (and we have Val's picture). In reality very few men could use that kind of shield. If only she was using some magic or there was some enchantment involved to make her stronger, it could actually make sense and I'd be fine with it. But now it's too ridiculous as it is.

So what's the Kredible Kodex Konsensus?

Not sure if the following is that but... It's a mixed bag from the little I have seen. It's a RTwP conversion of a turn based system with shitty writing (mostly), retarded setting and with a little SJW-ism thrown to the mix. Also is buggy. On the other hand if you ignore the above - there is A LOT of incline in there. A complex and not retarded ruleset. Huge amount of content, tons of different classes/monsters/items*/etc... . At least an attempt at making the game challenging. Some interesting mechanics rarely seen in CRPGs. And probably more good stuff that I forget at the moment or haven't seen yet.

Verdict: If you are not mortally allergic to RTwP and can stomach writing and setting that makes Baldur's Gate writing looks like ambitious pieces of literature then it is INCLINE. But it's probably a good idea to wait until it's properly patched. Still it's early, no one really saw the late/end game yet (I think) and myself I only played first few levels so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Wow. "don't trust him". There are screen shots in that thread and its about numbers. *Sigh* the left has truly driven some people insane. Even if their accusation were true, which it could be since its the codex, they are also irrelevant to the matter at hand. As a software developer I would ban anyone who told me not to look at numbers because they don't like the views of the person reporting numbers.
