I did figure out to use my Empowerment Rod to cast it on my Eldritch Scoundrel though finally after a gazillion regular casts.

There are tons of Mirror Image scrolls on sale in Varnhold's Lot DLC. Not in the main game, though.

dlc is pointless if its obvious developers cut content left and right. Pillars of eternity 2 for example when the main game is cut corners skinny in content I don't care about the additional 4-5 dlcs.

I have no preference either. A furry, is still a furry. It does not matter which form it takes, I only voted rat for our resident monk poster.
