Yep, he mentioned it a couple months ago. It seems to have come as a bit of a surprise to him then though. The port is handled by an external company, don't remember which one.
I'm not buying it.. All the changes he made to the combat and the UI, the reduction in party size etc reeked of console inclusiveness..
