There’s a diverse bunch of opinions about PoE on RPG Codex, including three full reviews. Some of the criticisms are easily justifiable, some are debatable, and some are hyperbolic nonsense. I try to pay attention to opinions in the first two categories and ignore opinions in the last.

Not a fan of most of those, I must admit. The ones I like are Abydon (obviously patterned after the Eyeless), Wael and Woedica. I'm especially not a fan of the anthropomorphized Ondra and Rymrgand, as well as the lack of duality in Berath.

Why couldn't we have shit like that in the actual game?

I'm not sure why he made fiery whore Magran into a floating suit of armor. Looks more robotic than Abydon who is actually supposed to be a sort of golem.
