The lack of crunch is the problem.
Apparently when they started to crunch they made whole sandworm boss event in like 3-4 weeks.
Crunch won't help you unless fundamental technology is finished and stable. You can add maps 4, 5 and 6 by working 80 hours weeks only if maps 1, 2 and 3 are finished and content for them is locked down.

Basically the problem with those colorful graphics that dem crayon munchers like to pull every now and then, yeah, that's a lot of money, but how much are they spending? How long do they need to keep it up? How long till it stagnates or starts falling?

Basically not only was I right, I was very right. $600m in expenses is crazy. They would need to outperform Rockstar in order to break even.

I feel bad for the developers who were freaking out because these games going to destroy their careers. I said that was going to happen and here we are.
